About
Point your phone at a building. Learn what it is, and why.
ArchiLens recognises 67 architectural styles — from Ancient Egyptian to Brutalism, from Anatolian Seljuk to Bauhaus — and explains what you are looking at in plain language. Everything runs on your device: no account, no ads, no internet needed.
WHAT ONE PHOTO GIVES YOU
• The style, with the model's confidence shown openly
• Style DNA — the details that gave it away: pointed arches, whiplash curves, board-marked concrete
• Period and tradition, placed on a 5,000-year timeline
• Famous examples with architects and locations
• A side-by-side comparison with the style it is most often confused with

AI THAT ADMITS WHAT IT DOESN'T KNOW
Most recognition apps guess confidently and are quietly wrong. ArchiLens shows its score. When it cannot separate two close styles, it says so: you get the tradition it is confident about, the closest candidates ranked, and the full knowledge card for the leading one — clearly marked as a candidate, not a verdict. It also suggests how to reshoot for a clearer answer.
A LIBRARY WORTH GETTING LOST IN
All 67 styles, browsable offline, searchable by name, period or feature in four languages. Every style has a card: how to recognise it, numbered distinctive elements, famous buildings, and a world map of surviving examples.
DISCOVERY PASSPORT
Each style you identify becomes a stamp. Complete a tradition to earn its badge, climb seven explorer ranks, and keep a private map of where you found what — stored only on your phone.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Photos are analysed on the device and never uploaded. No account, no analytics, no ads, no data collection. The only network requests are the optional style maps and the Nearby feature, which asks the public Wikimedia service for notable buildings around you and stores nothing.
Available in English, Türkçe, Italiano and Deutsch.
For travellers, students, architecture lovers, and anyone who has stopped in the street and wondered: what IS that building?
