What's New in Arcov
1.1.0
September 5, 2026
Arcov feels a little warmer this time. A new typeface across the whole app. Softer, and easier to read. Your names, your letters and your numbers all sit better on the page now. New: when your streak reaches a milestone, the app finally makes something of it. A quiet full-screen moment for the two of you, instead of a number that ticked up while you weren't looking. Opens faster, and stops interrupting. The launch screen used to hold you for a few seconds whether it needed to or not; now it steps aside as soon as you're ready. Updates arrive quietly in the background instead of asking you to restart. A buzz, a hug and a check-in each feel different in your hand now. And on a heavy day, the check-in is gentler rather than louder. Your halos answer each other. When a buzz you sent gets one back, or when your check-in completes the pair, you both glow for a beat. Your partner's mood on the home-screen widget is drawn now instead of an emoji, so it looks like the rest of Arcov. Today's Moment is the photograph now, and little else. When you have both picked one, the two sit side by side with a small wax heart signing the join. A squiggle stays whole instead of being cropped to fit. A calmer home: one notice at a time instead of a stack, no more pop-ups introducing themselves when you open the app, and all your weekly numbers now live together on your Together tab. Check-ins and highlights land the moment you tap, instead of waiting on the network. And if something does go wrong, your words come back to you rather than disappearing. Fixed: when your partner has been quiet and you tap to send them a buzz, it actually goes. It was quietly failing before, on the one card meant to help you reach them. "What we're building" now shows what we've recently shipped, so the things you tapped a heart on don't just vanish off the list when they arrive. Fixed: deleting your account works properly, notifications no longer go missing, and every confirmation looks like Arcov instead of a system pop-up. Thank you for being here this early.
