Email

The only thing that needs to change is including all the contacts in the same email. Basically, each contact knowing who else was contacted in their individual email.

Wanted to Love It

Great idea, horrible execution. There is no way to snooze or change the number of days before the alert, so if you are going where there is no cell coverage your contacts will be notified. Also I deleted a contact, but they continue to get alerts, and finally all my contacts were alerted that I had not checked in even though I had. Tech support was zero help. Am cancelling.

Response from developer

We have been replying to your emails but have not heard back. We are adding vacation mode where you can turn off the service. Contacts will NOT be notified if they are removed from your contact list. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.

Terrible experience

Decided to cancel. Deleted app and cancelled subscription, BUT IT ID CONTINUING to send emergency alerts to my contacts. My data no longer shows, Apple couldn’t fix. There’s no cancel option in the app. I emailed the developers, and also completed their web form for assistance, and no response. I fear my contacts will receive emergency alerts every 48 hours until my one month subscription expires. HELP!

Response from developer

We did receive your email and have now fully removed your saved contacts on our end, so they will no longer receive any emergency alerts. For clarification: deleting the app does not automatically remove contacts. Contacts must be deleted inside the app first. Once a contact is deleted, the system can no longer send alerts to them — even if a subscription is still active. At this point, no further alerts will be sent. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. If you need anything further, please reach out to us directly and we’ll take care of it.

Paid Subscription

You need to pay for a subscription to even add one emergency contact. Otherwise, the app is just a button with no use.

pointless without paying

you can download for free put your name in and check in but unless you pay you can’t add an emergency contact making it pointless. it’s a dollar so it’s affordable but it’s something that could be done for free with a text
