Awesome Wolfenstein 3D Clone!

I’m sure to many younger gamers, the primitive design might be a turn off, but to anyone familiar with 90s FPS, Wolfenstein 3D is a legendary game, really the genesis of the FPS genre. And more than just a historical curiosity, it’s a game that I’ve always felt holds up quite well, and I’ve replayed it several times. It may not be the blockbuster leviathan that its slightly younger brother Doom is, but it’s got the same fast-paced action, just without ceiling textures and with 90 degree, grid-like corridors.

This game runs on the same original engine (well enhanced version that Rise of the Triad used, since it has auto-map feature) and is a loveletter to Wolfenstein 3D.

I’d even say it is a bit better in some regards than Wolf3D, as the use of textures and sprites in this game contribute to the feeling of levels being an actual location, with vending machines, windows to the outside city, outlets in the walls, etc. It’s got nice powerups too, like coffee for speed or regenerating health to max pickups.

The game is just as fun as the original Wolf3D, with a unique theme that reminds me of Stan Smith from American Dad. I even prefer “Area 52” over Blake Stone—another Wolf3D clone, from back in the day, that tinkered too much with the winning formula—or Rise of the Triad, Wolf’s spiritual sequel.

The controls for this mobile app work great.

I’ve even found a number of the secrets, which is always fun to find. Part luck, part skill, and part classic wall-humping ;)

Suffice it to say, if you’re a classic FPS fan, what are you waiting for? Download it already!

You cannot pass level 9

If by some miracle, you get to level 9 with enough ammunition to win, there is no red door. None. At least let me complete the level. I might even buy the second episode.

Funny and cool

On of the enemies look like megamind🤣🤣🤣 best game ever! Very classic game! I like the music. No glitches. Pretty cool game!

No ads?

I purchased “no ads” but i still get them every time i launch the game. Help!

UPDATE! All good, working now with no ads. Now, any hints on what to do with the red key on level 9?!? LOL

Ad. Fest.

Every time you complete a level or exit the menu there’s an ad. The game still continues while there’s ads playing, so you’re getting shot up while watching an ad

Purchasing the ad removal and full game eliminates this dilemma. Additionally the ad frequency and length have been adjusted as the ads were set to be skippable but there is an issue with the ad platform so we have reduced the ad shows while this is being addressed. We hope this may support you adjusting your rating.

This has been done in the latest publish that should be released today. We are considering adding for those that might like the filtered look for larger format displays but currently the texture filtering has been disabled and you should receive this update tomorrow.

Good game

This game is good and everything, but after completing the first level the game crashes and I’m back to the Home Screen, any way that can be fixed?

Thanks for letting us know. If you could submit analytics if you are prompted it would help us out greatly to isolate it. We have tested the latest release on various platforms and devices but have not been able to reproduce. You can select level two from the main screen if you completed the first level.

nice wolf3d game

amazing game as it does looks like the og mobile game but retextured and 10/10 for releasing it to later ios/pados versions and one thing is that can you also add a built in builder? if you have no idea what to do, you can take some inspiration from havocs wolf 3d editor or doom builder 2 bye!

Instant ads and poor graphics

This game looked mildly amusing and had good reviews so I decided to check it out. As soon as I selected a level— and before I even got to try it- an ad played. A long, un-skipable video ad.

Needless to say, it wasn’t a great way to start a game. Once you lose you get another ad. Graphics are mediocre at best, and gameplay isn’t much better. Best to avoid unless you like watching a lot of ads.

ADS, with no way to disable them!

I wanted to like this game, but after starting it, I went to a menu and when I came back to the game, an AD pops up. I go to find a way to disable ads and there was nothing!

I go back to the game and ANOTHER AD POPS UP?!?! It hadn’t even been 30 seconds…. I immediately deleted the app.

Thank you for letting us know about this bug. An ad should not be popping up when you visit the menu a new updated version is pending and will be out in less than 3 days. We hope will try the updated version. As for ad removal we have not implemented the in app purchase yet to disable the ads completely so in the meantime we have also reduced the number of other ad shows and are evaluating skippables. We made the decision to rerelease the game prior to the buy up option - sorry. Thank you again for your feedback and also for supporting gamemonger and all indy developers.

gives wolf3d vibes

Smooth and clean retro action just like Wolfenstein 3D! Great control stick and options for different styles but I liked the default method the best. The accellerometer tilt and straffe if cool too but I preferred the simple default control. The nice thing is you can choose to go back and play any level or chapter at any point - but its good to start from the beginning to build up an arsenal!

Love this game. I need help though. Beat the secret level (8 I think) and I have a red key card but there is no red door! Help!

Awesome! Great controls!

Great fun, action packed, and above all the controls are very responsive! A great retro style! I loved wolfenstein 3D and this took me back. love it!

Great!

As a player of many FPS games, i can say that this is an AMAZING game! Don't be fooled by the graphics, this game is OUTSTANDINGLY FUN! I rarely ever enjoy a mobile FPS like this!
Retro style. Good music. Cool enemies. Fun levels. Definitely get this!
