As a mechanical contractor I use this app daily. I also encourage my employees to use it as well. I know it makes me math lazy but definitely saves me time

You win some, you lose some. Area Calculator is a tool used for calculating the area and perimeter of some common...and not so common 2D shapes.

very pleased simple interface , no adds, need a tool to calculate sqft and volume the bundle was the best deal as get useful conversion app also
Needs update for ios6/iPhone 5
Great app and I use it all the time, but the App will no longer open now that I am running iOS6. Please update ASAP.

Developers response to Bands2010: The review by Bands2010 is inaccurate. Area Calculator does indeed do everything in the description. Unfortunately, irregular shapes are not included. However, we have tried to be upfront with everyone and list all the shapes included. We have received many kind words from happy users around the world. It is unfortunate that one false review can turn away many that may otherwise benefit from such a useful geometric calculator.

It didn't do what I understood by the description it would. I need to calculate irregular areas and this does the same as your high school math class AND it's overpriced.

Provides more calculation formulas than I was expecting (and honestly, didn't even consider). Now I don't have to memorize some of the forumulas!

Used it for some home and yard estimates.. worked great!
Not so great
I bought it for school and it didn't let me give enough info about the shapes. For example a circle I had the volume but there was know volume spot.
Very useful app.
As an engineer, I routinely compute the area of common shapes, especially when working in the field. This app is easy to use and accurate. I am sure I will use this one often. Thanks.
