Ridiculous

I cannot believe I paid for this game. How embarrassing. I honestly felt like it was made for children by children. Also it was short and no challenge whatsoever. For a game you play on your phone $5.99 is expensive unless it’s really good and also long. I feel like I got ripped off. So I won’t be buying any games in the future from whatever lazy team put this together…..geez

Related to the play duration, I'll like to refer to the description at the app store, which says, thats the game has a play duration of 1 h or more. Please give some advice to me so that I have a chance to fix the problems. Please be as detailed as possible. Thanks.

Ich war einer der glücklichen die es mit meiner mutter wärend eines urlaubs testen konnten und das spiel hat eine quallität die im point and klick genere auch von giganten wie dem alten lucas arts games kommen hätte können und man in heutigen zeiten von großen firmen net mehr oft sieht ein muss und ist jeden cent mehrfach wert

Save your money

No voices and a mediocre storyline with not much to it unfortunately. 4.5 star average led me down the path to buying it but I’d recommend saving your money.

Could have been fun but

The speaking bubbles don’t show any words. It’s just white when they talk so can’t follow the game or what to do with out being able to see what characters are saying .

Hi, thanks for your Feedback. I'm sorry to read you completely dislike the game, because of this annoying bug. Some players have sent me similar hints pointing out the bug is related to gamers having dark mode on. Please try the game using light mode instead. Meanwhile I provide a bug fix release as soon as possible. Kind regards, Damian Update: The latest version 1.2.1 takes the individual dark mode setting into account and makes the text visible again. I hope you give the game a second chance.

Mit dem iPad (13.5.1) enthalten die Sprechblasen keinen Text. Das Spiel ist so nicht spielbar. Schade um das Geld.

Hi, danke für die Rezension bzw. den Hinweis auf ein Problem. Es gab bisher nur eine weitere Rückmeldung zum ausbleibenden Text. Dies konnten wir schnell auf eine benutzerspezifische Einstellung zurückführen. Haben Nutzer den Dark Mode aktiviert, führt dies zu Problemen bei der Darstellung. Check das mal bitte. Währenddessen ist ein Update mit einem Fix unterwegs. Für weitere Hilfe und Behandlung von möglichen Fehlern im Spiel stehen dir viele Kontaktmöglichkeiten außerhalb der Rezessionen zur Verfügung. Bitte nutze sie. Die Rezessionsfunktion ist stark limitiert bei Rückfragen und für angemessene Hilfe untauglich. Grüße, Damian Update: Die neuste Version 1.2.1 berücksichtigt die individuelle Dark Mode Einstellung und lässt den Text wieder sichtbar werden. Hoffe du gibst dem Spiel noch eine zweite Chance.

Annoying.

No speech just annoying music. Need to read subtitles. Can click on the same item over and over and you never know how many clicks before the thing actually does anything useful. People basically just say howdy or engage in meaningless long dialogues you can’t stop, over and over. 5 minutes in sand I already want to shoot myself and I’m a solely point and click gamer. Nothing seems useful. Hard to navigate. Disaster.

Good game but...

How about some sound effects and voiceovers? Would give the game and character more charm. I would definitely pay more money to download part 2 if it included this

Thanks for your feedback. Argh! Earthlings! has a plenty of sound effects onboard already. Have you checked the sound volume in the volume preferences page? Indeed the game could benefit from voiceovers underlining the game's goofy atmosphere, but adding a voiceover to 3300 lines of text in up to 4 languages would be extremely cost and time intensive. Perhaps I'll be able to add voiceovers one day, to fulfill a well user experience.

Sehr kurzweiliges schönes Adventure

Rätsel sind alle lösbar, wenn nicht gibts Hilfe. Einige schöne Finten gelegt. Grafik ist gut, Steuerung befriedigend, was ich eher aufs Smartphone/Touch schieben würde. Ist halt kein Mauspfeil. Aber ä, hat Spaß gemacht. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen ist die Länge. Aber wenn das hier 8 Jahre gedauert hat ist das verständlich. Kaufempfehlung 👍🏻🙂

Danke für den Hinweis. Leider kann ich mit dem Hinweis "dümmlich" und "recht kurz" nichts anfangen. Weiter frage ich mich, ab wann das "Ende" wahrnehmbar wird und wie man dann auf "zu kurz" kommt...

It has both pros and cons

I love point and click adventure games and was excited when I saw this one on the App Store. I’m over 60% finished and it’s starting to feel cumbersome and difficult. I love the graphics and humor in the game, but wish it was more intuitive or the hints were more helpful. With 20 items in my inventory I was doing a lot of random walking and clicking. Now I’ve resorted to using a walkthrough for much of it. Also the dialogue is way too long in some parts and can get repetitive. Halfway through I found the speed settings, so that does help some. I doubt that I’ll make it through the whole game, but I did enjoy it quite a bit in the beginning before it got repetitive and difficult.

Hey Jamcat1190, thanks for your feedback. All graphics are made by myself. It took months to create these scenes, so I'm very glad to know you like that style. It's very hard to design a fluent and perfect plot, but many other players enjoyed the game even if they had some troubles here and there. I'm sorry the game starts to feel cumbersome and difficult. I hope you had still fun playing it so far. I suppose you have got found all help available by yourself. The only further tip I can offer, besides guiding you to the walkthough on the project web page, is to clear your questions when you send me an email (which address you can find on the project web page ,too). I promise to tell you enough details to solve the hard parts without telling you the story.

Quirky and fun

There’s a lot of scenes and the game play is good. Auto save works great here. Lots of objects and puzzles at the same time, thanks for that. Cute cartooning retro look. Very likable characters. Helpful hints along the way. If you click something more than once, you might get different dialogue and hints. A fun premise overall and the puzzles are unique.

The quirkyness is that you need to wait for dialogues to finish or failed attempts to be applied before you can click again, or maybe I’m impatient. The dialogues can be slow, so the creator should speed things up a little as we read faster than the game. English translation a little off but no worries. Fred talks too much when you first encounter him and at the end.

This is a traditional retro looking point and click. It has real puzzles so you’re not just clicking everything mindlessly.

Good value.

Many thanks for your review. I love to see the game was fun to play. To conquer the challenge finding the best text speed I've added an setting into the main preferences menu to adjust the text speed. If some texts are processed still too slow or are just boring, you can fast forward each phrase by tapping on the speech bubble. Hope this helps a little bit.

Imaginative and entertaining!

Very clever story line, funny characters and dialogue. There are no puzzles, just found items and the logic to use them to complete the adventure. Some of the logic was “in a different planet!” but the developer has a walkthrough on his website that I had to utilize on occasion. A link from the game menu to this walkthrough would have been helpful. Overall, it was fun!
