Subscription
Do not under any circumstances sign up for automatic payment for on line service. You cannot cancel it. We moved from the area and tried to cancel on line. You are instructed that you must call to cancel. They will not answer the call or return your call. We called our bank and we were told we would have to cancel our debit card and have a new one issued to stop payment from the bank. The paper gets the benefit of keeping your payments flowing!

App keeps asking me to subscribe
The app was updated to V 9 five days ago. Since that time it keeps asking me to subscribe to read more even though I have an active subscription.

Begs you for money at every step. Horribly biased towards the alt right. User interface looks like it was made for the elderly.
How Long Have Tablets Existed?
To be fair, I’ve only had this thing installed 12 hours, but within ten seconds I could tell something was amiss - this application only seems to know about portrait mode. I checked the obvious - screen lock is disabled. Inspected Settings to see if somehow Landscape versus Portrait is a manual setting. Newp. So for those of us who know how to rotate a device 90 degrees and store their 1100 USD iPad in a protective case with an attached keyboard, the desire to read local news has to be weighed against having to actually *hold* the iPad in hand to avoid an uncomfortable neck ache. And, of course, charging the device while using this app would require placing the device in a potentially dangerous location *or* rotate it through another 180 degrees to the “upside-down” position. The *horror*! I sure hope there’s something interesting up the hill to read about.

WORTHLESS!!!
Local cops chase homicide suspect thru town. He's still on the loose. You see headline on newspaper at the store. Open this app? NOTHING about it.
I've had this app for several months now and I have NEVER been able to open it and see breaking local news. News articles you know exist must be searched for using keywords!
No sensible news categories! No 'Local News' menu! All stories lumped together from national to local. And local news articles that you want to see, such as recent news or popular stories, aren't visible!

Separate the national and local news
I enjoyed this app more before the national news headlines were added. Now they are intertwined with the local daily sun articles. Please separate them. This app used to satisfy the local flagstaff news niche, and now it is having an identity crisis.

Doesn't work
The previous version of the app would repeatedly take me online to an advertiser's website even when 1) I hadn't clicked on the ad and 2) I closed the web page and relaunched the app. I downloaded the update of this app and now it doesn't work at all. I click on it and I'm taken back to my home screen.

Frustrating
Ransoms ads always open up. I can just sit my phone on the table without touching it, and 30 seconds later an ad takes me to the App Store for some game. Very very frustrating!!! Also, please spell check your online articles! Errors in 50% of articles
Great source for local news
Love the local info.
The New App
This new version is much better. Font is a good size so i can read it while driving. The site loads much faster on my phone than on the work network!
Flagstaff and northern Arizona breaking news
I enjoy reading the Daily Sun in print first thing in the morning, but I stay informed throughout the day with this App. It's intuitive and updated regularly.
Ads disguised as an update...
The recent iteration of this app now contains ads that, well, are easily as annoying the app's problem with duplicated headlines/stories.
