So upon installing this app, it gave a very vague, brief tutorial which involved placing a crate, opening that same crate, and getting a pick axe, followed by an even shorter tutorial how to build your own creations. Simple enough (although the tutorials didn’t tell me what button did what and what control did whatever else). But after that, there’s no explanation on anything else (like for example, no explanation on the market, how it works, etc).
•Some other things that don’t make sense to me•
-Why are there items floating around if they’re all sold out, and you can’t buy or otherwise interact with them? Perhaps you’ll be able to interact with another player’s said item later on?
-Why are you able to buy more than one of the same item? (Not saying there’s anything wrong with that, just wondering what the point of it is).
•Some other questions/concerns•
-The game keeps crashing and sending me to my home screen once I change rooms in discover mode. The one time it actually didn’t crash, my phone lagged very hard, and then it proceeded to crash anyway upon entering the next room.
(Branching off what I said right above, I was leaving my room to try again, and the game froze, crashed, and told me I needed to update my game. I checked the app store, and no update was listed. I went back into the app and that message did not pop up again)
-Why do items keep moving and glitching back and forth/through walls? (I’m up on a second floor, and I can’t really hang out of my window to see what item is floating 25 feet off the ground).
-(This one might be a ‘me’ problem, haven’t quite figured it out yet) I tried buying $1.99 worth of coins, just to see how it works and what it’s all about. Apple tells me “my purchase was successful”, and not 3 second later the app tells me: “Purchase failed: API error”. (No errors on any other apps, no errors with my card the 2-3 times I used it today in the real world). Could we possibly get an explanation as to what each error means?
All in all, (while it’s working), it’s a very cool app thus far. Very happy to be a part of this trial and error stage.
