For the people saying that it keeps crashing or you can’t download it, maybe try checking the compatibility, and if that doesn’t work then your one-star review is probably valid. For the people complaining about not having enough gacha credits, low tier operators doesn’t mean they’re bad. You can play with four stars. For that one guy saying that the game is a Trojan, I don’t even know what to say anymore, you’re the only one saying this. For the people saying that there are no skill animations, I honestly don’t think its really necessary. If you want flashy animations go play Genshin Impact or something. For the people saying that this is a Plants vs. Zombies copy, not every single tower defense game is Plants vs. Zombies. It’s similar in some aspects but still different most of the time. For the people saying that there’s no Chinese option in for the language in the game, I believe there’s a seperate Chinese version of Arknights? Try switching the country on your App Store. For the people saying you can’t reroll on IOS, you’re not supposed to reroll in the first place. Anyways, about the actual game. Arknights is an anime gacha game, in which you get gacha currency, and gamble away your life savings. Arknights is also a tower defense game, in which you place Operators (towers) to defend your base(s). Enemies spawn, and your Operators kill them. I like the character designs, but the game gets boring after a while, so I like watching movies while Auto-Deploying. Even though I enjoy this game a lot, the gacha system is just… Was the gacha system added last minute or something? 1 Originite Prime gives 180 Orundum, and you need 600 Orundum for one pull, which is around 35 Originite Prime for 10 pulls. Originite Prime isn’t easy to get either (unless you swipe). You don’t need rare Operators to win in a level, but it really makes it easier, and trying to beat, let’s say, Skullshatterer or something with 4 star Operators. I barely beat Skullshatterer with 5 6-stars in my team. So, maybe one Originite Prime could be around 320 Orundum? That concludes my yap. Have a good day.

The game itself is ~3G, but requires 30G free storage to install. Then I tried to install and play in Google game, where it keep crashing and their hot fix is “ pleas use android or iOS devices to play “ really bro?
Arknights
This game is really fun, the character designs look so good and like they cane right out of an anime. I love the banners and the art.

Doesn’t Fail to Amaze
The only Gacha game I have installed and has been on my phone ever since. If you like tower defense, this game is a must try. Cool mechanics, events, characters. Power creeping exists but doesn’t really affect the enjoyment of this game. You can use whoever you want and it’s PvE. So many game modes and endgame content. Plus, it’s very free to play friendly.

Recent event is atrocious where you have to manage tiles and having enemies that are an utter nuisance to deal with or outright rage inducing. Other users brag that it’s easy but it’s mostly them having access while others such as I don’t have them. Support doesn’t count due obvious reasons. I highly doubt whoever thought it was a good idea to make some of the stages outright unfair or being for hard for hard sakes even thought of it through besides surface level playtesting.

What the hell... We have to keep the game active on our screen for 5 to 7 hours just to download the absurd amount of patches? Can't it mostly be included in the regular appstore download? Garbage programing.
Genuinely the best mobile game I’ve ever played
I don’t normally write reviews (I’m sure you can check my account to see that) but I’ve been playing this game since 2023 and I seriously do not think there is another game out there that does what Arknights does. It’s tower defense gameplay makes you really critically think about what you are having to do and how to beat each of the stages and the units that you are facing. The roguelike mode gives you “season pass” esque rewards and there are currently 5 different roguelikes within the game that do not cost any “sanity” or energy to play and go through. It gives you rewards for playing through them and utilizes the units you have to further incentivize building the units you don’t normally use. I don’t think there’s any way I can fully express how fantastic this game really is, if you’re a fan of tower defense, there is genuinely no other game that comes close to how great this game is. Not even bloons imo.

First and only gacha
Started playing mid 2025, I’ve never played any other gacha games so I was new to the genre, but this game and its story is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. The volume and diversity of the characters with incredible attention to detail is amazing. As well as the attention to detail in general throughout the game. The only things I can say against Arknights is 1, the size of the game, ~28Gb is almost half of my phones storage space, and 2, the community online can be… weird. But I think that’s all gachas and I hope ours is not the weirdest.

Eines der besten Gacha-Games
F2P freundlich, unglaublich viel Content, immer neue Events und interessante Spielmodi, extrem viele Charaktere mittlerweile, sehr große Story. Wer sich für das Spiel Zeit nimmt und den Mix aus Tower Defense und Rogelike mag: Herzlichen Glückwunsch, hier ist dein Spiel für die Ewigkeit.
