You better hope your dog never ends up in this horrible place
I recently had a heart attack and had to be moved quickly to the hospital. my dog was at home and although I knew he would be safe there because I always leave plenty of food and water for him— I asked the sheriff’s office in Fauquier county Virginia where I live to take him to AWLA because my former roommate works there—Jen Katac. I expected she would take him home with her as we have been friends for 10 years. She said she would only take him to the shelter and if I was not able to pick him up in two weeks he would be for- fitted to me and put up for adoption. I knew I would be out before two weeks but I pleaded with her to bring him to the hospital as he is my service dog and he is allowed to be in a hospital room with me. She said no she was sorry I was sick but she wasn’t going to do it. Anyway I did get out and a friend brought them to me today. His fur was matted and his ears were inflamed and infected. He has a massive case of diarrhea. I had to fill his water bowl with freshwater three times because he kept trying to drink out of freshwater when we took a walk. I will report this to the board of directors and I will go higher if necessary I may take legal action to have this shelter shut down. It’s a disgrace.

Could be so much better...
I was really looking forward to this app but was quickly let down. It really doesn't do anything advanced at all. A great logical feature would be to be able to sort pets by feature type. Adding alerts for your favorite pet types would also be another logical step. Often times, thumbnail pictures are stretched and skewed.
It's very basic, and almost not worth it. It's a quick glance, and not much more. They'd be better off customizing a personalized look on a more popular app company/platform that is fully featured.

Great
Works and is up to date about the animals at AWLA.
Peace of mind.
As a owner that was forced to give up my two dogs due to a divorce, it's great that I can check in and see how they are doing.
