Armor

The Evalan ARMOR system consists of a heart rate monitor, a sensor node and an iOS application. The ARMOR sensor node is a portable, battery-powered device that connects wirelessly to any generic heart rate monitor that supports BLE. It collects the heart rate data, performs the data processing and makes the data available to the Evalan ARMOR application. The Evalan ARMOR application is installed on a compatible iOS device as part of the ARMOR heat monitor. The application collects the data from nearby registered Evalan ARMOR sensor nodes. This data is entered into a licensed algorithm within the application to estimate body core temperature and physical strain index (PSI). The application then shows the estimated core temperature, heart rate data and PSI. The user can select the PSI level at which alarms can be generated.
