Disappointing
I’ve been playing hidden object games for 20 years, and this one just isn’t fun. I hate using hints, but had to when I was looking for a black and yellow salamandra. Well, it turned out to be a regular old salamander. Also, I don’t mind well hidden objects, but not so well hidden that even when I do finally use a hint I still can’t see the item. I hit the spot twice, and lose 2000 points. What a waste of time.

Too dark
I have this game on my PC and enjoy playing it. The app version is so dark I cannot see the details or the search items. Haven’t found a setting to make it more visible. It’s too bad because I like the music and the concept.

I already had it on my newer iPads because the graphics on this app are incredible and it's challenging to find the items.

Do not like
I am very disappointed with this game. I wish I had played it before I bought it. I thought it had the 360 screens but it does not. The items are so small I can’t find them. If the developer would refund my money I would buy another one of his games.

Not fun at all! Rarely play anymore. Don't like the graphics, either! Penalized for tapping on the correct object! Disappointed!
Pretty difficult = more fun
Not much crazy story, just a nice clean hidden object game, without waiting for fancy scoring after every six objects you find. I'm really enjoying it.

The imags are partially hidden which makes you look harder. Sometimes need to play multile of times to really see all the objects

I downloaded this a while ago but never played. But it's quite fun, though it is very challenging.

Works for me even if I end up repeating puzzles when I play for 15 min. then continue another day.

The complicated and ornate backgrounds of this game make it quite challenging. I thoroughly recommend this to those who like a challenge and love hidden object games.

Just getting started
This is fun, but a bit small on my iPhone. Would be better on an iPad. Enjoyable thus far. Timely too...reading the book right now.
Good start but lame, pathetic end result!!
I bought this because the graphics shown led me to believe this was a less crappy than most version of this type of game (outside Big Fish). Nope. It seems like one person collected awesome pictures and worked on a couple of good scenes, got fired for whatever reason, (maybe he was too meticulous and too slow?) And he got replaced by a yoyo who thought it would be cool to just throw a bunch of stuff together with complete disregard to genre, era or relevance. As if it was not enough he thought he would show his remarkable disguise skills by asking you -for example- to find a bag and picturing half a chicken, which turn out to be said bag because it has handles you could not see! Ha ha ha! I bet this guy had a good laugh all the way to the bank! Shameless. Deleted and I feel really cheated.

A fun challenge
Pretty good game! I prefer the levels where you have a list of items to find over the ones where you have an outline of an image. Other than that, amazing!
Hard but good
I play a lot of hidden object games and this one is really difficult which is good but sometimes they are too difficult. There are times when you are told to find a cat, for example, and you will find a cat, it's obviously a cat but if you tap it, you're wrong because there's a small painting with a cat in it and rally you were supposed to find the cat in the painting. All in all it's a very challenging game. Very well done.

Fun game, well done
This is a tough game, but a fun one. Some of the hidden objects are very difficult to find. I like the way the objects relate to the period. I also like the artwork and graphics.

Okay, TELESKOPE is easy, I can figure out that a WEEL is a WHEEL, and I even know that an ARBALEST is a crossbow, but SKOROBEY? I think it's a scarab, but, although I found it via a hint, it was so small that I'm still not sure what it was, and there were a lot of words as garbled as that. Very small objects, dark and hard to see, resistant to taps, and wrongly named--all in all, pretty unsatisfactory. I did give it an extra star because I loved the graphics: very beautiful in a steampunk kind of way.
