Must have

What a creative machine. Make sure you have something to record the output in the moment because it will do amazing unpredictable things. Wish I’d found this sooner. hopefully patch cables coming in the future

Arp Odyssei review

Korg need to update their apps to AUV3 only a few of them are and this isn’t one great synth , but really it’s useless unless it’s AUV3

dommage

excellent son mais qu’en faire sans AUv3 ?

Fantastico!

My Favorite iOS Synth yet!!!

Soooo good! Sounds warm and fat. Very versatile. Absolutely love this synth!

AUv3

So eine App ohne AUv3 macht nur bedingt Sinn.

AUv3 Support Needed ¡PLEASE!

Love the sound of the ARP ODYSSEi with it’s faithful re-creation of the ARP SEQUENCER but it’s high time KORG gives this beauty AUv3 support so we can plug it into a real DAW.

FANTASTIC, But…

The ARP Odyssey was my first synth, back in 1978. As someone who had the original hardware, and used it for many years, I can report that this thing sounds great. All the switches and sliders do what they’re supposed to, and the bits that KORG added (effects & sequencer) are fabulous. But there are some serious problems, which I have requested fixes for, and have never been addressed. #1: the EQUAL/ANALOG switch. This has no business being there at all; all the ANALOG setting does is simulate an out-of-calibration Odyssey. This is not “the unique character of the Odyssey”, it’s a flaw, which I spent considerable $$ to keep in adjustment while I had my Odyssey. In itself, this is not a problem; I just leave that switch on EQUAL. But that switch does not exist in the Lexington gadget, and it is locked into the ANALOG mode, with the result that any 2-oscillator sounds are progressively more out of tune the further you get from the center of the keyboard. #2: NO MIDI Program change capability. #3 NO AUv3 capability. If this stuff ever gets fixed, I’ll change my rating to 5 stars immediately. In the meantime I’ll try to make do. It still sounds fantastic…
UPDATE 4/3/2024: We just got the AUv3 update for Korg’s iM1, which is fantastic, and I am hopeful the ARP ODYSSEi will also get this update soon. Also hopefully my other issues mentioned above will be fixed. In the meantime, the ARP ODYSSEi is still a brilliant recreation of my all-time favorite synthesizer; I’m looking forward to using it much more, both within Gadget, and as an AUv3. Thanks, Korg!!!
UPDATE 1/21/2026: We recently got the AUv3 update for iWAVESTATION, and I continue to hope that the ARP ODYSSEi will also get this update soon.

Uav3 Audio Unit Not available

It would be fantastic having this powerful synthesizer in other iOS daw app.

AUv3 please!

By far the best analog emulation on iOS. Identical in sound to the original. So good it really needs AUv3! Please Korg. And I hope you also emulate the 2600…would really be a dream.

My personal favorite vintage iOS subtractive synth

What makes the Odyssey so good? When it first appeared in the early ’70s, it was one of the very first portable, self-contained synthesizers — compact, reliable, and designed to look as good as it sounded. Unlike many of its peers, it packed an unusually deep set of routing and modulation options into an all-in-one instrument, giving players enormous flexibility without needing a wall of patch cables.

So even though the Odyssey is “only” duophonic, its wide range of routing and modulation options gave it a futuristic sound for its time. The ability to bend, twist, and reshape waveforms in so many ways set it apart from other synths of the ’70s, making it a favorite for players who wanted something more adventurous than just fat basses and leads.

For me, the Odyssey has always stood out because it wasn’t just another Moog or Prophet — it had a voice of its own. Gary Numan used it to shape some of the synth sounds I love most (think Telekon), and players like Herbie Hancock and Tony Banks pushed it even further. That duophonic design and all the modulation possibilities made it sound futuristic back then, and honestly, it still does today. Playing the Korg version feels like holding a piece of that history, but with the bonus of effects and modern conveniences that make it even more inspiring.

It also includes a second keyboard with pitch bend and modulation, two assignable XY controllers, and an additional page with a bank of effects such as chorus, delay, reverb, and more.

In summary, I think Korg did an excellent job with this recreation. The sound instantly feels like the ARP Odyssey the moment you play it, and the interface is one of Korg’s best UI designs—clear, responsive, and true to the original while adding modern flexibility.

my favourite synth, period. Auv3?? Sync, midi…

this sounds incredible, let us put it in our prductions korg, we need auv3 and MIDI LEARN, channels…. please, invest on these, ARP ODISSEY and ms-20 are a pity without midi learn nor Auv3….waiting to put 5 stars and it would deserve more with this future upgrade

AUv3 Support would make this great

I appreciate that Korg ported this to the iPad, AUv3 is all that is needed to make this really versatile

No auv3 - no money

Without AUv3 it’s absolutely useless. But sound is very good.

Something is seriously wrong.

(2025-05-29) None of my "User" presets work. Also, most (more than 50%) of the "Factory, Rev1 and Rev2" presets don't work. Sometimes there is a popping sound when switching. There is no sound when pressing a key.

Auv 3 still missing

The im1 got auv3 a year ago , and we are still waiting for korg to update this magnificent app to auv3 , interapp is so annoying in a workflow.

Bitte AUv3 ❕

Warum gibt‘s keine AUv3 Version? Wir haben 2025 und für KORG wäre es nen Kinderspiel …

Please add AUv3 support

Great sound and faithful recreation of an iconic early synth. Add AUv3 support and it’s a 5 star app all day
