Needs a bit of work.
I bought this specifically for the floor plan function and it has a tough time making 90 degree angles. Turning corners a short distance from doorways alway produces an 80 degree turn to the door opening. I’ve also had new floor plans created atop a prior plan.
The system comes with no instructions and ZERO tutorials can be found on Arrim’s website or on YouTube. They’re great at showing you what it can do, but you’re pretty much on your own to figure out how to execute.
One example...when you begin a floor plan, you are prompted to create a room. There is no guidance on how or where to create one. No icon, no instruction, just repeated prompts stating “You must first create a room”. I honestly wanted to take the unit outside and run over it with my car.

3D Photo Does Not Work
I emailed the developer about this issue but have not gotten a response. Unless I misunderstand have a function is meant to work. But there’s really no good tutorial or set of instructions either. I watch the video online about how to take a 3-D photo and that functionality does not seem to exist with in this app.

Downloaded the app because I thought this could really help I couldn’t get the it to work on my iPhone or iPad.

For an estimator… GAME CHANGER!
This will be my first review I’ve ever written for an app. I do estimates for landscaping and this has far and away changed my life. I estimate unusual shapes for sod, concrete, and planting areas all day every day and the tedious rolling the wheel, writing down the measurements, calculating everything at the end- over and over is truly mind numbing. This has changed everything. I measure very odd shaped pool decks, then I measure again, and somehow it can be as little as half a square foot difference over a 600 square-foot pool deck. When I measure twice it’s almost exactly the same. That gives me the confidence to know I’m not messing up. I told my wife if this thing breaks I’m buying 10 more. Sincere thanks!

Excellent Tool for any Adjuster
Wow....this gadget does a little bit of everything in regards to helping you get measurements effortlessly. I love how they want feedback and make changes to make our usage need more personable. Love the product.
Best tool for leveling
I used several professional laser and giro guided leveling tools, but this one is far more easy to use and no need to carry variable stands.
App will not connect to Arrim one
When press the connect button the app shuts down.
