One person picks the destination and shares a six-character code. Everyone who joins sees the same simple picture: who hasn't left yet, who's on the way, who has arrived, and a combined group ETA — live on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. No accounts. No maps full of moving dots. No location-sharing anxiety. PRIVACY BY DESIGN Your exact location never leaves your phone. Your device computes your ETA locally and shares only three things with your group: your status (not started, on the way, arrived), your ETA, and rough distance-based progress. Coordinates, routes, speed, and heading are never uploaded — our servers are configured to reject them outright. And whenever the app uses your location in the background, iOS shows the standard location indicator, so nothing happens invisibly. LIVE ON YOUR LOCK SCREEN A glanceable Live Activity shows the group's arrival time, who's en route, and how close everyone is — updated automatically even when your phone is locked or the app is closed. The Dynamic Island keeps the essentials one glance away. DRIVING MODE Starting your trip switches to a focused, large-type view of your own ETA with a live map of you and the destination — plus one-tap handoff to Apple Maps for turn-by-turn directions. Walking, biking, or riding instead? It works exactly the same way. EFFORTLESS MEETUPS • Create a meetup in seconds — search, recent destinations, and nearby suggestions • Invite with a code or share link; no sign-up required • Live group progress and per-person status, sorted your way • An optional arrival note from the host ("park in back, table's under Garcia") • A little celebration when everyone has arrived • Sessions expire automatically — nothing lingers WHY NOT JUST SHARE LOCATION? Because "when will you get here?" doesn't require "where are you right now?". Arrive Together answers the question your group actually has — and nothing more. Arrive Together only ever asks for "While Using the App" location access — never "Always". Requires iOS 17 or later.
