I am sad to say this app has never worked 100% and it was in my opinion expensive...especially since it doesn't work. I wish it did...I wanted it for teaching art and art history. Could have been a great resource!
Should've been paid for wasting my time
On top of taking my money this app has cost me precious time spent trying to convince Apple support I should receive my money back. App has not functioned even once. Shame on developer and Apple, both of whom continue to capitalize from its sales.

This App BADLY Needs an update for iOS 8
The app won't download developer's data updates; its wheel simply keeps turning and then delivers an error message. I see the most recent update was in 2013! Developer owes paying customers a prompt bug-squashing update "yesterday" and certainly before the end of 2014! I will await an update and may accordingly revise this review.

Always Crashes
This app was overpriced for free. It never once loaded. Crashes every time you try to create a user name.

Read the reviews first
I should've read the reviews. Then I would have seen that the app was buggy. For me, it would never even start up, either saying 'updating' or simply crashing and closing. I have a new iPad Air 2 and 8.1.2 version of iOS.
Still not working! Fix it!
The app is still not working. It always says "updating" but nothing happens. It has been like that for good few months. Please FIX the app as soon as possible, after all I did pay for it and I want to use it! Or give me my money back.
Needs to be Fixed
Awesome app at first, but now when I open it, it sits on the home screen with an "updating data" warning and won't let me continue. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the app, and I've let it sit and load for 15+ minutes before giving up.
There would be a lot of grateful art fans out there if you could fix this. It looks from the comments like other people are experiencing something similar.

Great idea but not there yet
Great idea but needs some work. Really buggy and not really complete. Would love the ability to make private notes and/or had a template for reviewing.
Gaps
There are a lot of gaps in the artists in this app. For the most part it is well done app and has a lot to offer a serious art student.
Nice app, but...
This app worked great when I first got it and I loved the quality and features, especially the favorites. However, it won't open now. It just crashes every time I open it.
Best of the Best
This is the best art app I have ever downloaded. Much better than Art Authority…The design is modern, so many ways to navigation and search, create my collections, omg, so cool!!!
