Totally useless

Can’t tell watercolour from oil. Valued the same painting (a verified post-impressionist watercolour) as a $20 reproduction and then as a $30,000 original. Overvalued another verified original by a factor of 2 or 3. Do not rely on this app.

Wrong artist

The name is on the art piece and it came up with the wrong name for the artist

Thanks for pointing this out. We actually improved artist recognition in our latest update, especially for cases where the artist’s name appears directly on the artwork, but it’s clear we’re still getting some of these wrong. We’re continuing to refine it, and reports like this help us identify where it still needs work.
