ArtBiogs helps you learn more about Australian artists while you are visiting galleries, exhibitions, art fairs, or prize shows. Scan an artwork label or search by the artist’s name to see their Australian art prize history, including how many prizes they have entered, how many they have won, and where to find more of their work online. No user account (login) is required. Use ArtBiogs when you want a quick sense of an artist’s activity, recognition, and exhibition presence without having to search across multiple websites. As of July 2026 there are more that 2,500 winners recorded, 37,800 prize finalists (for 14,000 artists). The chances are more than good that we have more information about the artist than the label you're used to looking at.
