SLP

Great product! Makes my job easier but it’s expensive but I understand why. I just don’t get paid enough as a SLP to afford this every month. And it deletes my recorded speech samples so that’s frustrating.

Unfortunately there was a bug that in some instances could cause a speech sample recording to not show up. The good news is that we just released an update that fixed that issue. Excellent Speech Sounds Assessment

Thanks for this fantastic app, I use it with all my speech students. I find it full of really helpful functions and sections, very easy to use, and lovely to look at and share with kids. I would just add a pause function in the Speech Sample recording section for the stopping and starting when transcribing!

Thank you for sharing a wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoy using the app. Regarding the speech sample section... while there is no pause button, you can just tap the stop button to pause recording and the play button to start it again. In the data and transciption screens all the recordings from a single session are stitched together so you can listen to them continously all at once. When transcribing a speech sample there is also a play and pause button at the top left. If you have any additional questions please contact us anytime!

So expensive

I bought the original articulation station app 12 years ago. I was shocked that this new app moved to subscription. I’m a school SLP, no way I can afford this.

Not a fan of the new recording option. I preferred the previous one where it would continuously record.

Best Testing App for SLPs!

This app is user-friendly, the reports are thorough and easy to understand, and it saves me so much time in test administration and scoring. I love that it's included in the Little Bee Hive pro subscription cost! This is a good value and makes comprehensive articulation testing so much more accessible. Highly, highly recommend!

I love that you can quickly screen a child's speech sounds based on their age. Marking errors can take some time to learn.

Articulation Test Center Hive

I’ve been using the Articulation Test Center Hive this school year to evaluate and screen all of my students with articulation and phonological issues. I find it extremely easy to use, and it keeps all my data in one place. I’m able to use it at multiple schools on my iPad which makes for easy access. I love how it automatically gives me errors in place/manner and which phonological processes are present. I especially like being able to record my students’ responses. My school does not reimburse me for this app, but I find it to be so essential that I pay for it myself.

Convenient and Thorough

I LOVE the Artic Hive Testing app…it’s quick to use, allows marking of errors with ease, has an audio recording section for speech language sampling and generates very thorough reports that can be cut and pasted into report templates. It’s saved me SO much time with report writing! Plus, no more lugging around paper copies and flip charts!

I would love more speech sampling story boards, but what’s there is great!

Easy and quick assessment tool

Articulation Test Center Hive makes it easy and quick to assess students. It also makes IEPs a breeze! I typically use the app to assess my students a few times a year to check-in on their progress and determine new speech sound goals/targets for their IEP. I love that the phonological processes are auto-marked and the report is written for you, with the ability to customize the report as much as needed. It's easy to share the report with parents as well! If you have a lot of referrals and comprehensive speech and language evaluations to complete, this app has the articulation portion covered for you. And with the interactive scenes you can easily record a speech sample that is helpful for assessing speech, language, and fluency.

Pricing

For clinicians with a broad caseload or few clients with speech challenges, would love to see a pricing system that allows for payment per test/client/report-published, or short subscriptions, rather than payment for whole months at a time.
