App for home use

As a first time design app user it allowed me to add and subtract items prior to making mistakes with scale and purchases. It was easy to use and allowed me to access my camera roll to make changes to photos I took of my home.

Great Interior Design App!

Seeing what something looks like is essential to making a sound design decision with which you are happy. This app makes that possible, permitting multiple shapes, sizes and colors to easily be swapped out prior to install. Great job of making a difficult process simple to accomplish.

Upgrade success!!

Upgrade Success!! I downloaded the original beta version of this app and while it had a few kinks it helped me beyond measure to show my clients how to visualize their space. I highly recommend this app for both work flow and work speed! The upgrades have worked out all the kinks and added tons of great usability!

Doesn’t work

This could have been a game changer for designers everywhere. Too bad as soo as I start a project the app closes.

We are releasing a new version to help with the initial download time. We have created a complex program that requires time to download. Since it isn't a basic low function app we do incur a delayed install rate. If you try a day later the slow download failure will resolve itself. Bugs

This app could be cool but it has bugs. The measuring tool disappears which does not allow you to accurately resize items. It also does not allow for intricate tile designs using 3 types of tile in one horizontal line.

Hello Lisa, I saw your comment on the YouTube video this weekend and responded there too. I'd love to hear from you. Were you were able to touch an object first then see that the measure button comes up after the object is selected? If something is missing from an initial download it can take up to 24 hours for it appear. Currently we do not have multi-shaped tile patterns yet. Color selection for tile is not working

Thank you for trying out Design Appy. You are correct the tile pattern does not color fill. The program has overlays that can change the color of the tile or change its opacity so that the user can manipulate the contrast of the grout. Very limited uses

This app has potential but the parameters are too strict. Your tile project has to be a wall with minimum height of 60” and max width of 300”. You also can’t figure out cuts or mix tile shapes and sizes. I am an interior designer and wanted an easy way to layout mosaic pool tile, however I guess I’ll just go back to using CAD.

Thank you for letting me know you see potential of the app. I modified the description to note that this is made for kitchen, bath and interior room areas of tile. I intended it to make the home design process easier. I did not consider the application of this for laying out a custom mosaic in a pool. Sounds like a really cool project!

Tutorials made this easy to use

It seemed a little complicated at first. Once I saw a video on how to use it I quickly caught on. I would like to be able to duplicate drawings, and would like a group of templates rooms. It would make things faster. Please add the background remover. It would be a game changer.

Dynamic, user-friendly, and professional tool!

I have been experimenting with this app for a couple of weeks and am really enjoying it’s versatility. I downloaded the free version to try it out and quickly switched to the full version. I’m currently using it for a remodel and there are so many practical functions. This app has already become a valuable tool for me and will be a game-changer for my builder clients.

SO much more than tile design...

An interior designer showed me this app the other day. Initially, she was showing me tile layouts/shapes on her iPad. She took a photo of my backsplash and was able to show me what the tile would look like in my actual kitchen in just a few minutes. I was thrilled because envisioning it is the hardest part. BUT THEN, we started looking at dining area (where I have fabric samples taped up alongside a large window). She took photos of the window and fabric and used those photos to show me what that exact fabric could look like hanging in MY home...in minutes. That led us to a light fixture in the living room using a something really pretty we found on Instagram. She took screenshots and sent them to me. Yes!! I decided to download it on my son’s iPad so I could keep playing with it. I’m learning it fairly quickly and have been going around my house experimenting with fun wallpaper. Next up, artwork! Loving this app!!!
