This App no longer works properly. Some images will not load. I deleted App and restored to find that the Pro Version with it’s toolbar had gone.
Takes a while to figure out..
Works very slowly and is cumbersome to manipulate, but does the job. I think someone has to do some programming enhancement before this is really ready for prime time. But I find no other apps that do the job at all!
False advertising
The grid lines are so thick that makes it useless. Not worth it.
Fantastic app!
I use my iPad for reference instead of printing it out and this app is great. It lets me take any pic and apply grid to it. Perfect. No more hassle doing it in Photoshop and then resyncing it. You can hold iPad next to the drawing and not lose time looking away. Thanks!!! :)
Artists Grid
I had to stumble around on my iPad with this app before I discovered how to use it. Not bad for a freebie. With the recent upgrade I can now file the pic. Haven't tried to print yet. Prefer using iPad.
Impossible to Use!

Bummer
The ratio of the grid is set, and not the same as photos taken on my iPad. No matter how I adjust, the sides of the grid cannot line up with the sides of a picture or the screen, which leaves me with some really awkward math.
Useless
Lines are too thick. Even with the thinnest line option, when you zoom in the lines are too thick to make them useful.
Do not buy!
This app is SO frustrating, very limited use with grids not adjusting to picture..I want my money back too 😬
Rubbish!!
Bought the app. Opened with the selected photo and the grid scale is not small enough. Now can't get into the settings at all. I want my money back 😡😡😡😡.
Useless
Grid cannot be sized enough. Expand the image to focus on detail and the grid expands with it to the point where the, so called, grid is off screen. Probably of some use when the entire picture has a grid overlaid. Even then the grid is a bit coarse.
Needs much finer grid lines and a grid that can be sized more than is possible with this feeble offering.

Not the best
Seems to scale the picture, not the grid.
If I have a high quality photo I should be able to constrain the grid to be xy size. I would then expect the grid to size itself to the picture.
Unfortunately the app crops the pic, seems constrained by the resolution (so you get a really fat grid line in some instances). Basically you might need to change the res on an image before putting it in here. If you do that, you might as well draw your own grid in that app too!!

Cheap and that's it.
Very limited use. Only has 3 grids - 2x3, 4x6, and 8x12. No ruler or measurement facility.
Blank page
It did work a few years ago but has not for some time. The support page has many asking for help with it as everyone has a blank page. Seems the developer is just collecting 99 cents easily. I wonder how one can get iTunes to do something about a bogus app?

For those of you getting the black & white screen, try rotating the screen/ phone first before giving up on it.. I was getting the black & white screen too and I ended up buying another $3.99 app right after this one that worked but I wish I had tried rotating the screen on this one first.. All the options popped up once I did that ..

Used to love this app but now I just get a black screen with a grey column at the side.
Won't open on my iPad
Purchased this app and it only gives me a black screen with a gray stripe down the right side. Wish I had paid more attention to the reviews. How do I get my money back???
Great App
If I could make a few suggestions:
1. Add another level to the grid sizes or make it so I can set my own dimensions and/or grid sizes.
Sometimes the grid boxes seem to large for the picture.
2. Number the edges of the grid so you can plot each box (kind of like a graph or line chart)
3. When adjusting the picture independently from the grid it's very exhausting and time consuming to hit the arrow every time to move the picture over 1/10 of a square.
If there was an option to hold the arrow button and it would move automatically would be extremely helpful.
These are all minor issues that can be worked around, but I think would put this app over the top.
Otherwise, it's an amazing app a and would definitely recommend it.
