Didn’t get a single thing right

Missed everything in my house. Said original paintings were prints. Missed the fact that I have a signed Picasso. Told me a painting from 1880s was machine made or AI.

Fake

Take multiple pics of the same artwork as a test …prices all over will vary and gets the medium wrong and under prices in general …Elizabeth Holmes would be proud

Good idea but ..

This is a good app and the idea is great but there should be a way to modify the scan by adding details like painting size, originality, details about texture etc.. I wish that could be added as that would give a more accurate value.

Don’t. Waste. Your. Time. Or Money.

This app is a joke. We have real, genuine, original artwork in our home and this app can’t tell you who the artist is, what the title is, the medium or anything of value.

I took a picture of a 1 of 1 Original Oil Paint on Canvas piece we have. This app valued it at $85. Called it “a girl in blue” no artist.

This piece has an appraised value of over $7,000. Not $85.
I truly feel bad for anyone using this app, taking pics of REAL original art and being told it’s worth $85 when it could be worth 1000x more than that.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME with this App.
If you have artwork and do not know if it is real or not, or if it is worth anything… DO NOT GO BY WHAT THIS APP SAYS. Do not use an app. Find a REAL appraiser to look at your work. Pay the money it takes to evaluate it by a human not an AI device.

Doesn’t recognize original pastel paintings.

Doesn’t recognize orginal paintings nor pastel. Doesn’t give an option for adding the information.

36x48 oil

This app couldn’t tell it was oil and said it was tiny. I tried multiple times to get it to see the proper medium and size. Trash for real artists. This was an experiment to help see value on my paintings. No help at all

Not worth paying for

It said my painting was small and unsigned so it gave it a low retail price .. it was neither small or unsigned . When you scan you can’t crop straight lines at all . When I did the ai assit it totally changed my painting in every way where it was just the idea of my painting , not an assit . Canceled right away I didn’t even bother with looking at any other features . Don’t waste your time .

Potential but needs work

This could be helpful but needs the ability to verify data such as size, medium, original vs reproduction, etc

Pricing is incorrect

I happen to know the pricing of several of my pictures. I tried the app. It is so far off the actual price. It’s a complete waste of money.

Not impressed

It's a horrible program, it judges high quality art on a very low scale. I'm not impressed. It's not worth purchasing.

Incorrect

The amounts put onto my art was so wrong. Very disappointing

App has no clue ……

Own a collection of great paintings by known artists with world exhibitions track record. Artora couldn’t identify and estimated the value for 50-300$ 🙃. Be careful with this app ! Valuation isnt serious.

Useless

It has no clue how to value artworks, or distinguish between different medium.
The only useful thing is the 300DPI conversion but at $40 a year is EXCESSIVE when there are many apps that convert images for free.

Response from developer

0 for 1

App did not recognize this contemporary living artist who has works in countless galleries and private collections.

Generic and Fake

This is an app that is using AI to identify what is in a picture such as sailing ship on a sea or old buildings on our road or snowy mountain with the river.

However, even with the artist name is clearly viewable on the paintings themselves the app can’t seem to figure out who the artist is or when the painting would’ve been painted or even just the base of information.

The information provided is so generic that I might be to do the same thing with ChatGPT or Claude. Don’t waste your time or money on this app.

Fun but meh

It gets a lot of details wrong either in subject matter/identification or in painting type assessment. It misidentified objects in scenes and sometimes missed important subjects altogether. Two paintings I have that are authenticated 19th century paintings (but not by famous artists) were identified as replicas - one has been in the family since its creation. But still fun to use and see what it thinks, not useful in any practical sense though. Maybe it’ll get there in future versions. Fun idea!

Useless product

The app misidentified painting styles for most of the paintings I captured

Not accurate at all

Listed antiques as genetic worthless items

Not even close to values of the art work

You are better off making a video or taking professional pictures and having your items evaluated

ST

The app priced a painting for $800 that was appraised by Christie's for 1M... lol
