Finally, an appraisal app that feels serious

I’ve tried several apps that claim to identify or value objects from photos, and most give you a few sentences and a questionable price. ArtVal is on another level. The appraisal reports are detailed, the comparable sales are especially helpful, and you get the history and context of the item as well. It’s fast enough to actually use while you’re at an antique shop or estate sale. One of those apps that makes you wonder how this wasn’t available years ago.

Incredibly useful for estate sales

This has completely changed how I shop at estate sales and antique stores. Instead of standing there Googling an item and trying to figure out what it is, I can photograph it with ArtVal and get an identification and estimated market value almost immediately. I especially like that it shows comparable sales rather than just throwing out a random number. Already helped me spot a couple of items I would have walked right past.

Great app!

The best app for finding those hidden gems in estate sales and antique shops.
