Just Ok

While the narration was decent, having used other guided tour apps, I found this one fell short in several ways. Here are a few suggestions for improvement:

1. The app froze multiple times, requiring a restart and causing unnecessary delays.
2. Instead of offering one cohesive tour of the island, it’s split into three separate ones. This leads to some backtracking and repetition — we heard the pirate story three times!
3. Several key island sites were missing, including the natural pool, national park and Baby Beach, which are major attractions.

Overall, I felt the tour didn’t deliver good value for the price.

We had a fantastic time using this GPS guide in Aruba. It took us to interesting places we wouldn't have found on our own, showing us the island's history and variety in just three hours. The option to drive around at our own speed was perfect, and the app was easy to use, making our adventure even better.

Self guided tour

Total waste of money, super bad infotainment, too many bugs, missing a lot of cool locations on the way. Needs lots of improvement.

*for developers* look at Shaka app for Hawaii and copy what they doing.

Mapping is terrible

A few sights weren’t there either. Probably u turned 30 times. Nothing else available so it was better than nothing, not a lot better though.

One narrative

This tour is fun and the app is well set up. The narrative is Eurocentric and unfortunately minimalizes and misses so much history of the nonwhite communities on Aruba. Please update to make this tour much richer!

AWESOME APP!!!

My husband I went to Aruba for our anniversary in Oct. 2022 and we like to vacation off the beaten path whenever possible so that includes taking our time with taking in the sights. I purchased the full app as we toured the island in our own timing and it was truly amazing. The details of the narration and the history of the island allowed us to stop and go whenever we pleased or not depending on the descriptive site. A must have for anyone who plans on visiting the island and not wanting to pay for an individual or company tour guide. Can’t wait to go back so we can use it again . 💜

Mostly Good

This guide helped me to visit some places I wouldn’t have gone to otherwise. All of them are appropriate for a regular rental (no 4wd needed). I’d purchased the entire pack.

Some of the directions and triggered cues could’ve been placed a better trigger points. The information was up to date except for the second gold mill. Regardless, the ap worked well.

Annoyances included the dozen times a pop up asking for a review and feedback kept coming up. In other parts, the narration was taking place right as I wanted to see the map or at an intersection, resulting in some wrong turns.

I wouldn’t recommend the Oranjestad portion. Yay, let’s track down a few blue horses in the heat of Aruba. I’d rather have that portion highlight landmarks, museums, etc.

What a beautiful tour guide! It has such a lively story of each point that it became the highlight of our day. Very nicely done. Kind of long but each story is very different topic from the other. Strongly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour (explored all three sections across two days). The narrator’s voice is very easy on the ears and nice to listen to for the whole drive. We enjoyed hearing the stories as we drove — very interesting.

I started with buying just the Noord section of the tour and then bought the other two as well!
Works well. Loved the narration and it was cool to learn a little bit about the history of the area as we drove around and admired the natural beauty of the area
