Great game but needs control improvement
Hours of fun!
A really good Zelda-like game
10 stars.
Great Zelda clone for IOS with trash controls
It’s a D pad. And it’s too big. There are no vibrations to tell where you on the D pad. Starting out - you’ll literally have to look down to see where your thumb is before you get it down. I’m a good ways in and I still take damage because Aruna won’t move out of the way in time.
Not gonna lie, I was regretting buying this game within about 3 minutes of starting. But that feeling passed fairly quickly.
But like everyone else has said - if you like the old school Zeldas - you’ll like this. It’s a very condensed, bite-sized, Zelda game.
I’m very conflicted on what to rate this. If I could, I think I’d probably rate it 3.5 stars.
Amazing.
Crashes
Gem disappeared
Fun game but crashing on loading now
Bad directional controls.
As enemies become more difficult to kill and have more powerful attacks it’s becoming nearly unplayable.
Updates roll out without hesitation!
This game now fully runs on keyboard, controller, and touch and the overall challenge/fun you can have is by and large one of the best!
Keep up the good work :) Can we see some DLCs? I’d love to contribute more to the developers ^^
Kind regards,
Everyday Guy
Great for what it is
Old School Feel Aquired
Other then that, you all made a nice tributary to Zelda.
Zelda
Controls
Ok not great
Needs polish
Awesome!!
Ummm?
Response from developer
Hi, thanks for playing and yes you are right, the game does jump you straight into the action. However the fairy does give you an introduction, and your overall objective of the game. She also tells you there is a town to the east (a couple of screens across), if you head there and speak to the npc you will get more direction on where to go. To get stronger you kill enemies to collect coins, then in towns you can purchase gear upgrades. There are also stronger swords to collect in the dungeons (you can get one first and then go and kill the spider queen). The game is a throwback to retro style games that focused on exploration, so there are no quest markers, just directions from NPC's. The map will show you where you have been so that is helpful to find your destination. Hope this helps, and you give the game another try. Thanks James
