Wish it would work with more than just SEE and ACE courses…please update to add functionality!!!
There’s something called “update”
This app needs an update like 4-5 years ago… please spare some money and take care of this app because most of us now are watching our patients in the OR and it would be nice to be able to access the info/questions on phones while waiting for a case to start or when we get free time during the busy schedules we have.

Horrible
The app fails to recognize my password every single time. It will briefly work immediately after a password change: The online version is acceptable.
Deleting old courses would be nice!
It works well enough for SEE. Whatever problem people writing other reviews had been having with not being able to change answers seems to have been fixed.
What would be really nice to have implemented is to be able to delete old courses! I have pages and pages worth of old Anesthesiology journal CME entries that are done and expired. In order to try to delete them, you have to download them again (which seems weird; why not just have an option to delete the undownloaded entry after you sync it to get your credit). But then when you’ve downloaded it again and then select delete, nothing happens! The course you tried to delete just stays on the list! Please fix deleting so it works.
Something nice to consider would also be to group all of a year’s journal CMEs under one item for that year. That would make the list of courses less unwieldy.

Out dated
You have to update this app ! Please.
Total garbage
The website says this should be v1.7, but it isn’t. Of course there is no link to the App Store, so perhaps this isn’t the most up to date version but if so I certainly can’t find it. This version is full of bugs and crashes even getting it set up. Then once you do it is completely useless anyway. Don’t waste your time. I wish I could expect better from ASA.

Still very buggy
A significant improvement over the previously useless version of this app but still not very good. Sometimes you just end up stuck on a blank page and there is nothing you can do except force close, sync and reload. After all this time, it should be better.
Please incorporate Anesthesia on Demand into this app
Would be nice to have Anesthesia on Demand content built into the app.
Horrible
Much less functional than the website. You cannot change an answer once you submit, so be prepared to answer 100 questions perfectly or else you have to start all over.

My Learning App Redesign
ASA Education will release an improved My Learning APP in Spring 2016. The redesign is based on subscriber feedback specific to course workflow and navigation. More information will be posted here and on the ASA Education Center website.
Horrible and to think we pay for this!
This is a barely functional app. Took me an hour to figure out how to log in then it is nothing like the desktop version. Pathetic.

This app is essentially useless. Unusable would be more accurate. On my iPad (the device that I always used to do the ACE program before without any problems) my username/password is not accepted. On my iPhone I can open the app and it will display a list of courses that I have purchased but will not download them (error message). Save your time and frustration and do the courses on line on a computer. I can't believe that ASA would implement an app without doing any beta testing which is obviously what they've done!

Addendum to prior review
I was able to login and assign a "name" to my iPad. You have to "checkout" each module. That would be somebody's idea of the word "download". Then, after you (manually) sync your work, you have to download the module all over again. Seriously?
Useless if you want to earn CME
ACE users will be surprised that the functionality of this App doesn't match the online version of questions. Within the App, once a question is answered, the answer is "locked in" and cannot be changed. This poses a problem because as a CME activity, one must review information and then select a correct answer since a score of 100% is required to earn CME. If you think that you're a superstar and can answer all 100 questions right the first time, then the App may be handy for you (I did like the interface otherwise). For the rest of us mortals, it's useless for earning CME. I notified the ASA of this problem, and they verified that my description is accurate, and they have no plans to change it. They suggested using the online version to finish all the questions.

If you thought you could get your CME credits using your iPad, you will be disappointed
If you want to do it on your iPad, this app is required to conduct most American Society of Anesthesiologists learning activities to get mandatory Continuing Education credits. The app does NOT work well, and replaces the 2014 version that DID work well. I am told this app is from a new software company, and the switch was “to standardize the platform.”
This app wasn’t even released until mid-October, 2015. I tried to take the ACE test. To pass, one needs a perfect score, but this app does not permit me to correct my answers, as past versions have always allowed! The only option is to re-set the exam, but then one must fill in ALLl answers again, even the correct ones. It was very time consuming and very irritating, and much worse than last year’s experience on the old app.
In addition, some filters don’t work, e.g. the filter to see questions you made notes on. And there is no filter to select the questions you might have skipped, nor a filter to see the questions you got wrong and need to correct.
Navigating around this app adds to the annoyance. There are a lot of unnecessary steps on the menus. If you touch the wrong place, you get a blank screen. The only solution is to click “Go Back” icon, which takes you to the very beginning of the exam. Because ASA scrimps on servers, its web pages have for years loaded egregiously slowly. And because iPads aren’t that fast, navigating around this app takes way too much time.
I feel insulted that with the dues ASA charges, plus $360 for the ACE exam itself, that they would put out an app the functions this poorly. Clearly, they did minimal testing before they released it in the 4th quarter.
