I made a purchase on the 7th of July since then I have not received any confirmation of my order even though they have taken the money from my account. I've attempted to be in contact with the customer service department multiple times and got no response. I've now reported the company to my bank and credit card company for scams.

Having access to unique hand made goods directly from the people on the ground is great. The app is extremely user friendly and reminds me of Amazon. Also donation option is extremely user friendly. Good products. Good cause
There appear to be many products on the Aseel catalog ranging from earrings to traditional clothing. Sure, the price is a bit much but it feels justifiable considering the money goes to someone who really needs it.
I highly recommend atleast looking at the products aseel has to offer, if not buying some for yourself.

Good idea but very overpriced & UI can be more organized
Browsing this app with the products available to the US had great products to purchase, but verrrry overpriced. For the prices of the dresses, I could ask my family in Afghanistan to purchase a handmade dress and even including shipping, it would be cheaper than the prices they’re selling things for. There is a limited selection and I found the UI to be a bit scattered. It would be wonderful to purchase Afghan products through an app, but with these prices for the products, it’s very unaffordable.

Dear Cherieer, Hello from Kabul! We are thankful for the feedback but the prices are put up by the vendors themselves in Afghanistan, We have no control over the prices of products. In the last 2 weeks, we have added 4 new vendors, This year we are going to add a total of 100 vendors so customers like yourself have multiple options and that will for sure decrease the prices with more competition in the platform. In addition, we are working on a new UI that will be released alongside our android app by the end of March. We would appreciate if you can improve your rating to 5 and provide us more input and referrals. Every review makes a lot of difference for us at this stage.
Men items
I just saw this app's report from the VOA Facebook page and downloaded it immediately, but there is nothing fitting for the Men. however, I am still happy to be able to get my homeland products online. Hopefully, you guys will add men's products in the future.

Great app with a greater purpose
To my surprise this is actually a very well developed and bug free app. The interface is very user friendly, and with a few more monthly updates it could get at Amazon level.
I thought they might only have a couple or a few products but they actually have a huge list of products and categories.
It’s nice to see great quality, but buying it with the purpose of helping the actual artists is soul food and satisfaction to money spent.
