Pay to win

The game would be strategic if it wasn’t a pay to win. At level 7, you cannot anymore progress or making a fight.

Furthermore, the game contains some screens written in Russian that you can’t understand.

OMG ITS BACK! YOU gotta play

NO freaking way! Ash of gods tactics is back??? YES!!! This is one of the best Tactical Turn based war and Deck Builder type games there is. The game was shut down years ago. So I have been playing ash of gods the way in place of it which is a fantastic game as well. It’s just like This game. If you have played Banner saga or Any of the ash of gods titles, THIS is a must. The medieval Style Units and art is phenomenal. The different factions are each So well done. The cards and battle mechanics and Field /Board in which you fight is aesthetically pleasing. And the music is Mwahhh. 4 Stars. Two thumbs up. Perfect

BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD

To make long story short. This games servers went down years ago. One of the greatest games of its type. BUT Ash of Gods “The way” just came out on play store. And That game is “ASH Of Gods Tactics 2” basically.

There is also Ash of Gods “Redemption” which is for those who want more. But Ash of Gods The way gives you exactly what Tactics did. Except there is no Multiplayer matchmaking for the way. (which was the best part of tactics. Even playing against ai opponents In quick matches would work well for future ideas)

But as A hardcore veteran player of ash of gods tactics before the servers went down. I can say Ash of Gods The way
Takes the best of Tactical Strategy War Table top games. And CCGs, With Units and factions each having their own Unique Tactic or Moves. Add in Item Cards and A Beautiful Medieval Inspired Roster of Factions and units and support cards, backgrounds and maps and you have a one of kind medieval Strategy Tactics game that can really put your brain To work. After all what’s the fun in playing a game that holds your hand. Ever really felt like You had something to lose? Or were nervous to lose? Or the opposite end, right when the game thinks you know the basics and Are getting the hang of it, then you find yourself against your first real Challenge. Where you lose. Lose again. Lose again. And Go back and Craft your deck and cards to really make a plan and come back and win?

Just give the game a chance until you start getting Cards and units from all factions. The really good ones. Just wait. Trust me

Oh and the soundtrack. lol it’s so good

There is also Ash of Gods “Redemption” which is for those who want more. But Ash of Gods The way is free for everyone. And gives you exactly what Tactics did. Except there is no Multiplayer matchmaking for the way.
I’m assuming redemption may have that because it costs $9.99. And has more to offer.

But as A hardcore veteran player of ash of gods tactics before the servers went down. I can say Ash of Gods The way is just Ash of Gods : Tactics 2.

No longer working?

Why five stars if not working?

1) Because see their other two games - Ash of Gods: The Way, Ash of Gods: Redemption, here on iOS and check YouTube reviews to see, then you’ll see why I am giving them 5 stars on something clearly not working. This is a start up *amazing studio* I am not going to ruin their chances of getting successfully noticed over what maybe or may not be an oversight. (Giving them benefit of the doubt) we need more devs like this when you see their catalog that we are getting from them.

2) It cost you no money to to try it out. If it had cost money I would had given it 1 star and a verbal lashing to the devs.

DEAR DEVS,
Just tried downloading today, upon launching

As progression bar fills up, the continuous pop up message appears:

“Cannot connect to server”

After progression bar fully fills up, nothing happens.

Just wanted to make you guys aware.

It’s tough out here running a business, I understand but you may want to make people aware on your description if this is no longer available or just remove it TO NOT…

tarnish the image of those masterpieces you have out there for us already:

2: Ash of Gods: The Way

Искал что то похожее на banner saga, нашел эту игру, были надежды, но при загрузке постоянная ошибка: не удалось подключиться к серверу

Также отмечу, что в магазине доступны наши другие игры, еще больше похожие на Баннер Сагу: полноценная RPG Ash of Gods: Redemption и тактическая игра Ash of Gods: The Way. Redemption совсем недавно получила крупной обновление Reworked с новой версией боевой системы и другими улучшениями.
