I’ve been using the Asianet News app for a while now, and it’s easily the most reliable source for breaking news. The Live TV streaming is incredibly smooth with zero buffering, even on a mobile network. I love the new 'News Shorts' feature’ it’s perfect for getting quick updates when I’m busy.

The most reliable and trustworthy news channel among the other Malayalam channels..Found that the audio is not available in the mobile app.. please fix it. Also the recent telecast of the stories / history of our freedom struggle has become monotonous as it comes very often and unexpectedly.. you could have made it a separate program every day at a stipulated time.

Misleading and misguided news channel
I came across their news channel, they frame it for political party, hence a limited app. They mislead public with framed details and mid guide them with incomplete information. Recently a viral audio call has come out of one of their employees, which said “if you want to watch you can watch our channel” when user had asked them why were they not showing up a sensational news from other part of the country. This is poor quality. Hence the rating.

Anti Leftist Stance is deplorable
Asianet was indubitably the best in the industry. Unfortunately, because of the pressure from a stakeholder who is a political figure, asianet has been targeting the leftist movements in Kerala at the behest of the aforementioned political figure. It is time Asianet changed for the better by shedding its political bigotry and inherent hatred towards leftist ideologies. Neutrality is essential or Asianet will be losing many more viewers like me who has decided to switch to another channel.
