Not working as it should.
It records a route and then just stops and puts a blue line from where it stopped to where it started again. I wasn’t going through a tunnel for 20 miles !. It just randomly stops recording the route and then starts recording many miles later. It’s not anything to do with GPS coverage because other apps I use alongside this app record my history perfectly fine. There is an issue with the app.

Does not work
Downloaded this about 4 months ago. Checked every setting I could. Never dropped a pin anywhere but home. Not one.
Curiosity Value or aid memoir
I am in the UK. This app is about tracking solely. There is no question of tracing, no attempt to collect other devices in close proximity. I find the GPS is accurate no matter if my journey is a mile or 150 miles.
One peculiarity of the app is that I have to restart the phone (iPhone 11) to see the previous day's journey plot. Another is that the advisory does not explain how to do as it claims '"see the data with the app closed".
App is still a significant achievement for a 16 year old!

GPS Tracking Seems “Spotty”

I’ve been using the app for a week or so (with location sharing set to “Always”) but have had to give it a low rating for the following reasons:
1. GPS tracking seems to rely on “line of sight” - in other words, the GPS satellite has be able to “see” your device. This means being out in the open. If you leave your residence, get into your car, drive to an underground parking lot and then go into a building without being in the open, it won’t track you at all. I’ve found that I sometimes have to hold my device to a window to be “seen” by GPS… I went for a 4KM run yesterday and and today - wasn’t tracked (although it has tracked me twice before on the same route with great accuracy). Verdict: GPS tracking seems to be “hit and miss”.
2. When GPS does track your device, it can position you anywhere within 2-3KM2 (minimum). In a low-density area, this may not be a problem, but I can be in my office all day, yet seem to have visited 8-9 other businesses in the immediate vicinity (when GPS is tracking me). Verdict: GPS tracking (when it does work) is misleading.
3. Every time I open the app, the following message appears: ”Manual: You can get the information even when the app is closed. You can also search your daily route. You can see the time by tapping the pin on the map”. I have to close this every time before I can use the app ad there seems to be no setting to disable the message. Verdict: annoying.
The concept of the app itself is good, along with the fact that it doesn’t store your movements on a server visible to those with whom you may not wish to share your information. Given that I downloaded it for tracking my whereabouts and the fact that it doesn’t meet this need, it only gets a 1-star rating for the few times it did track me.
It may be that the country in which I live may not have a good enough “network” or there may be other factors of which I’m unaware. However, I’ve deleted the app until it is proven to be sufficiently “robust” and reliable.

Good Idea
The only problem I have with this app is it doesn’t work consistently. Some days it tracks my location, some days it doesn’t... I checked my Location Services settings and it is set correctly...
