Never answered my question
Just sends emails to me about how great the app is. No cpa ever answered the question I submitted. Deleting.
Can't connect to server
Used the app at different times but couldn't submit answer.
App needs to be updated! It's January 2016 and last update was March 2012
This app seams to be great but it claims to be upto date on all the latest tax information. Only issue is that is only up to date as of March 2012... It is January 2016! 😕

Server error
Was pretty stoked when u downloaded this but every time I used it, kept saying Server Error. Deleted it after a while since it was just taking up space :/

Question not answered correctly
The person who responded didn't answer my question regarding the best way to gift a large amount to a relative. He suggested a loan, which would not work in my situation. He admitted his area of expertise was not in the area I needed. He also referred to a quit claim deed as a "quick claim deed" which is a little concerning. He also didn't really address my quitclaim question with any specifics, leaving me no other option but to go elsewhere to get my questions answered.

Absolutely useless
This app is absolutely useless. I've tried it twice with zero outcome. First asking a question, then trying to find a CPA in my area. Nothing happened. Removing it. Junk.

Great App! Used it for the first time today and within minutes received emails with contact info for CPAs located nearby who could help with my question, followed by several phone calls from CPAs who willingly shared their perspectives on a complicated tax question I had posed.
Answered my question !!!
I emailed my question, had to wait an extra day or two, but my question was answered perfectly to my satisfaction. They even called me personally to answer my question. Thanks!

a CPA....Michael .....by phone and he answered all of my questions. I recommend this app to everyone!

Got MY answer-no problems
"Happy with the Appy" - regarding "useless" comment below, are you sure you put in right email address and phone number when registering, cause I had no problems?
Useless - No response!
I asked a detailed question, followed the steps and submitted. Never got a response! And no, it was not in my spam folder. Tough when the app is called Ask a CPA, but you never get an answer. Maybe a need to change the name to Ask the Air. Same response :(
Very pleasantly surprised
Like I said, very pleasantly surprised. Basic enough info to shore up those who are not very technically gifted while still providing enough detail to make it very helpful. I'm ready for round 2!

Buggy App and erased question! Ugh
So I had high hopes for this app but app is very buggy. Accidentally kept hitting the ad banner which takes you out of the app and resets all the info. Disappointed.
great free tax app
did my own taxes this year with the help of this free app. all my questions were answered right on my phone which was very convenient. the app itself is very informative. in my opinion, most importantly the app is well thought out and easy to use. i really like the simple design which made it an easy app to navigate.the askacpa app is a great resource and i Highly recommend it. big time saver, and again it was free and i'll be sure to use it throughout the year.

Great Find for new business owner
I just started my business and was told about this free tax app in an email I received .
Its Easy to use - so much info available in the CPA archives. Asked a question and got an email back instantly with names of CPAs in my area. Then I got another email later with a very detailed specific answer to my question - wow- great free service. I'll definitely use this App over and over again.

It Really works - Got Free Tax Answers Fast
I had my doubts but this app really is a great resource for getting tax answers.
I completed submission form, typed my question about S corps and got my answer from Jeff.
I submitted another question on business use of my car and got that answered within an hour.
Also - I noticed the second time I submitted the question- I didn't have to complete the profile again.
I think "duped taxpayer" reviewer had issues with an Internet connection cause the App really works great.

Great app! Got my answer in one day!
I recently asked a question dealing with deductions on my tax return and received a prompt response. I read one negative review but I had no issues. Great app! Easy to use and very informative.
