About

Disciple your children little by little. Discipling children isn't a single talk, a curriculum, or a crisis to survive. It happens little by little — in everyday conversations, gentle corrections, bedtime prayers, sibling squabbles, big questions, and the quiet shaping of your own heart along the way. Ask D.D. is a Christian parenting companion for the whole journey of discipling your children. She walks with you through the ordinary, sacred work of raising kids who love Jesus — helping you respond with wisdom in the moment, get on the same page as parents, follow each child's long-term growth, and build rhythms that keep your family rooted in Christ. You are your child's first discipler. Ask D.D. helps you take the next faithful step. DISCIPLE IN THE MOMENT When a hard question, a meltdown, a discipline decision, or a spiritual conversation comes up, D.D. helps you respond with calm, practical wisdom, Scripture, and prayer — tuned to your child's developmental stage. PARENT FROM THE SAME PAGE Think through parenting and discipleship together. Share conversations, align as spouses and caregivers, and disciple each child from a common family context. WALK THE JOURNEY OVER TIME Your child's questions, milestones, struggles, and spiritual seasons become part of a long-term discipleship path — not a string of disconnected moments. ABIDE AS YOU LEAD Simple prayer rhythms help you parent from communion with Christ instead of pressure or performance. Discipling a child begins with a parent who is being formed. Grace-filled, never anxious. No judgment, no noise — just a steady, encouraging voice that points you toward connection and toward Christ. And toward your own pastor and church community, never away from them. Parenting will stretch you. You don't have to disciple your children alone. Ask D.D. Family Membership unlocks full access. What's New in Ask D.D.

1.3.0

August 18, 2026

Practice one small thing, and tell D.D. how it went. When D.D.'s counsel gives you something to try, you can now save it as a single practice in two taps. In your own words, on your own timeframe. Later, Home asks how it went. Tell D.D. what really happened and she responds to THAT, not to the advice she already gave, and offers a smaller next step if you want one. Nothing is due, and nothing expires. No streaks, no reminders you didn't ask for, no way to fall behind. A hard night earns a gentler next step, never a rebuke. Little by little is the whole idea. Ask your next question without waiting. You no longer have to sit on the reflecting screen. Leave it, ask something else, come back. The right answer stays paired with the question you asked. Your conversation list stopped showing doubles. Recent conversations appeared once in the Continue row and again in the list below. It's one list now. D.D. finishes her answer even if you set your phone down. Backgrounding the app mid-question used to end in a connection error for an answer that had already arrived. It's saved and waiting for you now. Also in this release: quiet reliability work around signing in and out, and extra care on the screens that matter most in a hard moment.
