Alexa as a benefit
Alex is perfect for me. She keeps track of my needs. In return, she requires nothing. Plus weather reports etc. I love it. I dumped the Google Home machine.

Says you can use this app without saying a word! I’ve tried everything I still have to speak each question. I click on them nothing happens I don’t know what the little speaker thing does on the right hand side under the star but you have to speak up thought you could click on it and she would respond

Opened ask Alexa app for the first time and was ask for my banking information and it stated there would be no charges to this account the next day there was $39.95 charged to my checking account how do I stop this I was not expecting it and it crashed my checking account costing me another $38 I googled houseoflordmark and found a lot of people complaining of the same problem please contact me

App Set Up
I was quite unsure as to exactly what my 1st Alexa can do & how I can use it.
I love that I can put my own phrases of philosophy in the app. I have to admit not exploring all of it. I’m a bit confused as I’m an Amazon prime member & this hasn’t connected & I have paid £9 odd for something I’m unsure what it is. So have to wait for my son to help me. It’s mostly pictures with Titles e.g. Books or Music.
I will suss it in the end. It does pick up my phone when I play You Tube through Alxas speaker. Unable to find how to set time. Setting up is so quick. I followed the stages & as soon as I plugged in Amazon Alexa the blue ring began to go round & it talks to you about what to do. I’m not techno & don’t feel anyone needs to be. Parental controls. All types of subjects. Definitely going to buy a WiFi dimmer bulb. Great to ask Alexa turn on light if hands are full also dim it all with my voice. Have fun for a long time with up to 4 family members.

App not functional
Can’t set up in my Region (South Africa) yet, i don't get why its being sold to us. Feels like a waste of money for me

Complete SCAM
This app should be removed from Apple! It does nothing but request you to download things “claiming there’s no charge”. Once they get your credit card the charge is $39.95 a month. I REPEAT... Ask Alexa App is a COMPLETE SCAM.

I love Alexa, my lights in my home are nearly all of them,with the exception of the bathroom and kitchen one lday I will cost it out.

This app does exactly what is say . Read the description...good question Ideas !! Really good ideas. I’d never think to say . When your at a loss what to ask ? Alexa knows so much . If your stumped what to ask .. GREAT IDEAS ..
What a disappointment
Downloaded on my UK registered and based iPhone X Max and duly bought the ads removal. The app reads out the English commands with a...German pronounciation (eg. “vat iz this” and “number funf”) which of course the English-speaking Alexa doesn’t understand. Wrote to Support and they admitted there was nothing they could do. The conclusion: deleted the app and warn potential English speaking buyers not to touch it lest they go through the same stressful situation. Hence the single star of the review.
PS. Didn’t even bother to claim a refund of the £0.99 the ads removal cost

Ok but why AD’s
There are tons and tons of requests from science facts to jokes! But every time you go into a category an ad pops up.. this isn’t a huge problem because it’s $0.99 to remove them.

Voices
The voices need working on for here in the Uk they are too fast and not clear they sound muffled and sound too metallic and you can understand most of them
