About
Do you want to learn ASL, but in a fun, engaging way that doesn't feel like a worksheet? Or do you want to help your young child learn and practice ASL, but they can't read yet, so many ASL apps that require reading don't work for you? ASL Signcaster is designed to teach ASL to match how children learn language - from context, play, and engagement with families. You don't need to know English or know how to read in order to learn early ASL words and grammar with Signcaster.
Cast spells and learn what the ASL sign for each one is. Click on the spell in the spell book, then click somewhere in the world to cast the spell. Cast a boat spell, and make a boat appear. Change the boat's colors, make it hop or dance, or make it disappear! Kids love to create silly scenes that they can come back to again and again, like a forest of bouncing blue bananas, or dancing flowers, or running boats. Learn ASL through play and research-backed language learning strategies, designed by Linguists, Deaf actors, artists, and game designers, ASL interpreters, and our foundation-funded indie game team based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
