The Apple Sign-In is only used to create a simple account that tracks your video generation credits (so you know how many you have left). This is necessary because generating AI videos requires significant computing resources that we need to manage fairly for all users. We chose Apple Sign-In specifically because it's the most privacy-focused option available - Apple doesn't share your personal information with us, and you can even use it with a hidden email address. Your account data stays minimal (just a username and credit count) and you can delete it anytime directly in the app. I understand that requiring sign-up before you can even try making a video can be frustrating, but unfortunately there's no way around it for this type of service. The account system is essential for managing the computational costs of AI video generation from the very first video.
