This game used to be very affordable back when it was new. Now, they charge for everything. I wouldn’t mind paying for the game, but that’s not an option. This new subscription-based way of doing things is ridiculous. You must pay every 30 days if you want an ad-free experience or a decent car. You will never own the game but you will be pating until you decide to stop.

Best game of all time 🤩
I really like this game and I’ve been playing it for 7 years but I want to make the amount of laps in quick race and other race mode customization overall it the best game. One thing I miss asphalt nitro 😢 it was also my favorite game of all time.

I watched 51 ads which are 1 minute each and got a rubbish car from it. there are ads every minute disturbing my time playing . It is pay to win as fully upgrading a car cost 100 POUNDS. That is diabolical for a kids game. I am stuck with no coins and Cannot afford anything. 1 STAr

Incompetent Developers
13 years going, been with it all the way, this is a classic example of thinking it cannot get worse, however every update brings more problems, server expansion recently has constant connection issues. The drive for years has been get the in game payments, the numbers have dropped, the ads have increased, the move from Ukraine to Vietnam has multiplied the speed of demise. Customer care is now AI, maybe one real person will reply after weeks if you hold the ticket open. Gameloft are known in the playing community as Greedloft. It is time to shut this down or invest in the player experience to bring them back to spending, like in the early years.
I titled using the word incompetent, that is my opinion and I feel it is justified. The recent introduction of unnecessary decal storage no one asked for, on a server struggling to cope with layers of code in conflict has rendered the game unplayable several times a day, but don’t worry, you can still watch ads!

Amazing but… for people trying to get to expensive cars, hard
I have spent at least a 2 day in total time on asphalt 8 but have fun but not so much fun and that’s mostly because I can’t get b and c class cars so the credit shop might need an upgrade with tokens. To start, I have to say that it is urgent to put 100 tokens but only using 30-50,000 or 10-20,000 credits so then people who are trying to get a c class car can get it and also people trying to get b class cars( me) please do this!!!! And make a place where you can sell cars for the price you got them and you have a max of 5 seling so you can get money from car you brought and please do in the next update but if you can, by Aug 25 please plus when you sell the cars to maybe get better cars so like it supposed to be easy without selling car to get to 300 tokens. AND have more electric cars and more cars overall and ad tata electric cars and know about that because I am from India but anyways please do it.

Great game. Lots of fun. Loads of game modes to play. However, one major issue is that the cars are very hard to buy after the C category. A suggestion is to switch the currency for buying cars to credits.

No racing, just breaking
Every time they update this game it brake checks you hard. There are so many levels of fake currency built into this decent racer that you can’t ever get to the actual game. It’s overwhelmed by fake “skill” based games that are nothing more than rigged dice or bingo card “games”
I’d rather tell you what would make a better game because the grotesque shell of this actually fun game completely ruins the core of an exciting arcade racer.
1st destroy all faux currencies and ads, they are not needed to make money and the pay to win destroys the integrity of the game.
2nd eradicate the cheating from the PC users that have infiltrated the code to win without even racing, scoring W with a time of zero. This shows you value the reputation of your competition.
3rd make money purely by selling access to new courses and new cars and new liveries and promotional online races.
4th NONE OF THE CARS HAVE STATS THAT REFLECT THEIR ACTUAL PERFORMANCE, WHICH MAKES IT FALSE ADVERTISING SINCE THEY ARE SELLING THE USE OF THESE CARS WITH COMPLETELY ERRONEOUS STATS!!!! All the cars should have the same overall speed (top speed + nitro) in their class once completing their offline leveling up sequence. Only acceleration and traction varies. Currently every class and level has a dumb ugly car that gets spammed because it exceeds the category and EVERYONE HATES IT! Also, switch from timed nitro to a set limited quantity of bottles to bring into a race… and completely destroy the tuning booster IT IS CHEATING!
5th Weekly tournaments cycle through the D C B A S classes giving rewards such as limited time access to premium vehicles or liveries and such. Currently theres only two tourneys Mater which may as well just be S class and Classic which progresses you through the classes but unfairly does not prevent higher classes and ranks from racing against you!
6th pre game allows players to race around the course to practice and collect nitro bottles while they wait for the race to start. NO MORE WAITING AT STATIC SCREENS WASTING MY TIME.
7th Introduce AI teammates that learn and mimic my racing style. When I wreck, I can take over the AI player, and vice versa, so long as I take the lead car.
8th Destroy cheating rank or VIP based knockdown system. Replace with a health meter or armor shield system. Both battling players get slowed down.
9th No more cheap crashes or sandwich knockdowns between invisible border barriers! Introduce terrain slow down and open up the rails where there are no physical obstacles! It’s nonsense to crash into air just because of an invisible border!!!
10th ABSOLUTELY NEVER AGAIN INTRODUCE A SHELL FAKE SKILL GAME WITH DICE OR BINGO THIS IS UTTER TRASH AND IT’S COMPLETELY PATHETIC

Very unstable game
Great went it work , but seem incredibly unstable with internet , despite having very reliable fast internet , the game is still extremely unstable ,and I’ve not getting the same issue with other other asphalt games
Great racing game!
Play it on the Mac with a game controller. Tons of ads on iPadOS but not on Mac. Lots of races and better courses than Asphalt Legends, but not as easy to customize your cars. Legends is better for upgrading your cars and doing tricks and stuff, but 8 is better for more races and not getting stuck if you don’t win 1st on every race.

What happened?
I loved this game. I grew up with this and now that it got all of these updates, it fell off. I’m disappointed at this. The main issue is the updates and the ads. I understand you may need money to update and bring better content to the game however, the game is practically money based because all cars besides a honorable few in D-class cost credits. Getting credits is the worst part, you either pay or somehow get lucky enough to get some from the game. This game fell off and it would be much better if these issues could be fixed or at least changed in the future.
