Embarrassing money grab after paying a “one-time” fee, only to be converted to a subscription model and then utilizing funds to legally intimidate other physicians who offer free alternatives for guidelines that are freely available. Shameless grifting.

Changed the terms
Trash. I paid for the initial ASRA coags app which at the time was a one time, lifetime fee. Now that I have updated it is making me start a subscription service. Garbage, honor your initial terms asra!!!
Paid for app but now it’s a subscription
Lost access to what used to be an excellent app even though I paid for it. Now there are many alternatives available. All my colleagues have been disappointed with ASRA.

I had the 2.9 coags version but since updating to newer iphone I can’t access without paying! I had a lifetime subscription smh
Bait and switch
I paid for this app for lifetime access before it was a subscription, and used it for several years. Now I am kicked out of it, requiring a paid subscription to use it. Those that paid should have been grandfathered in. Dishonest. Deleting this app.

I bought this 7 years ago as a resident and now found I can no longer use the app I paid for without a subscription.

Purchased app with LAST and as it should just be updated now I can’t even access the original app I purchased let alone the updates
Poor Form
Paid for the application. Now they want $6.99 annually. It’s fine to charge people the annual amount who have not paid the fee before. It is not OK to revoke the membership of everybody who paid before. At the bare minimum, everybody who paid before should have their money refunded. But, in all actuality, people who paid before should retain their memberships.

Great update for a useful app
This app helps anyone who cares for patients undergoing procedures or surgery and helps them schedule anticoagulants through the process. It lets you know when to stop and when to restart meds with a few taps. Must have for NPs PAs MDs or anyone scheduling cases on patients on any anticoagulants.
Bait & switch
Started charging more money to those who had already purchased lifetime access. Really scummy business practices.

Used to be decent, now they charge and the app is unstable and crashes

Don’t waste your money. Use ChatGPT instead.
Despite having paid for it previously, I then had to pay for another subscription. I then had to reset my phone, and it makes me pay for a third subscription or forces me to email ASRA for assistance. I now just use ChatGPT. Everyone in my office has deleted the app. Do not waste your money. Just use ChatGPT. All the information is there and in a much better format.
