About

There are things every smart home assistant should do and usually doesn't. THE HANDOFF NEVER BREAKS. Walk out the door mid-command and most voice assistants just stop. Assist doesn't. Every command connects to your local and remote Home Assistant endpoints in parallel and sends over whichever one answers first, so moving between Wi-Fi, cellular, and Bluetooth mid-conversation is invisible. Recording starts before the network connection is even made, so your voice is never waiting on your router, and a dropped path never drops your command. SEE EXACTLY WHAT IT DID — EVERY TIME. Ask your assistant to "turn off the downstairs lights" and you get more than a sentence back. Every reply that controls something in your home shows a row of pills underneath it, one per entity or script the AI actually touched, each with a name, an icon, and a clear success or failure mark. No more wondering if it really ran the script, or which of your five kitchen lights it meant. You see the actual entities affected, every single time. ONE-TAP BLUEPRINT FOR PROTECTED ENTITIES. Unlocking doors or disarming security usually requires tedious setup. Assist simplifies it completely: tap a single button in the app to automatically install a custom Home Assistant blueprint. It dynamically detects your protected entities, giving you effortless voice control backed by passcode verification or simple approval unlocks. TRULY 100% HANDS-FREE. Simply use Siri or add the Smart Stack widget and start a conversation without touching the screen: raise your wrist, glance, talk. Complications put it one tap away from any watch face. On-screen, tap to start listening, tap again (or pause) to send, or use the dedicated double-tap gesture to start and stop hands-free. However your hands are occupied, there's a way in. BUILT AROUND HOME ASSISTANT'S OWN AI PIPELINE. This isn't a voice-memo app with a smart-home skin bolted on. Assist talks directly to your configured Assist pipeline: your conversation agent, your STT, your TTS, so the AI, the automations, and the voice answering you back are the same ones you already set up in Home Assistant. A live status pill also shows whether you're currently talking to your local or cloud pipeline, and Assist switches between them automatically as connectivity changes. ALSO INCLUDED: Threaded, multi-conversation history: pick up any conversation where you left off Full history browsing and management on the companion iPhone app, synced automatically Siri Shortcuts ("Assist", "Jarvis") for launching from anywhere Pipeline selection pulled live from your Home Assistant instance Requires an existing Home Assistant instance with Assist configured.
