Great app
Astawq has benefited me a lot. As I am still finishing my education. I have been trying to market myself as a babysitter, however I struggled with advertising myself and finding someone who will pay me. This app is great for new comers to advertise themselves. I really found this app helpful. And I put my friends on with this app immediately as I saw people wanting to hire me through Astawq. The updated look and fill is a great improvement. Anytime my friends are trying to market themselves I always put them on with Astawq and they all found it incredibly useful. I love this app, and I will most definetly keep using it.

Excellent All-in-One Service App!

My issue was the call not redirecting but this updates fixes that. Thank you.
I would suggest:
- Better UI
- Map included in posts. If posters don’t want to share exact location then post with a given radius.
- Auto translation based on selected language. Now some posts are in English and some in Amharic. This app is specially useful to new comers to the US and most don’t speak or read English.
- (Bug) when users post two numbers the call feature combines it and gives out one big number.

Useful but improvements needed
It’s good the app exists but has serious flaws. People should be required to post prices and upload atleast one picture of listing. It should also be required to have atleast a zip code of listings as well. Also price for usage could be less.

Call is supposed to Call
Every post has a call feature which is nice to contact the advertisers but the button just displays the number and that’s it 😔. Was it really that hard to implement a simple redirect to the phone app with the number? What amazes me the most is you can’t even copy the number from the pop up display, really!!!
The interface also looks bare-boned. I know it gets the job done but visually it’s unappealing to the eye.

We appreciate the feedback on the previously available feature. It was temporarily removed due to users entering incorrect phone formats, leading to unintended international calls and accountability issues, and unpredictable behavior across different phone models/OS versions. We have a limited testing scope to cover the entire phone models. Despite this, the app remains the primary tool for community accommodation searches and we will address this request based on our enhancement priorities. Thank you for your review and rating.

I’m not gonna lie I didn’t expect this app will work when I posted my room for a rent but once I posted people started calling me nonstop! I rent my room within one day which was so cool. Thank you whoever came up with this app keep it up!

Best available for the community
Very simple and user intuitive to use. Plus seems the service has a very large user base. I advertised my basement and I was surprised with the number of calls I received the next day. In just two days, my place is rented. I was able to take the ad down using the profile ad management. Kudos to the creators of this App. It is very helpful for our community

Easy to use and offers great visibility
Super easy to post ad and offers greater visibility. One can track the number of people that have seen the ad as well, which is a bonus. App interface can be enhanced and sometimes you see very old ads but overall great service!

When I post I don’t even finish processing people start calling from all over the world . How come they call from every where ? That is fake . After that week no one ask or call. Also when they call they asking me send them the picture of the unit I didn’t post it for sale it’s for rent .. then they all asking me to look for them another place .. I didn’t say I am an agent … but all I know is this is fact advertisement page .. also it’s says free but they charge $9.99 that is also not right ..

I post an AD on Saturday and within 24hr I was able to find tenant and she was so happy she find a place that’s close to her work place this App will help every user in 3 ways 1.easy to find so many options 2. Very easy to access 3.connect with people without hammer away .

Best in Ethiopian community
I no longer need to go from store to store searching for ads. Makes things easier and access fast. The customer service is also very helpful to address issues. Will continue to use. 👍🏾
