Great app

Astawq has benefited me a lot. As I am still finishing my education. I have been trying to market myself as a babysitter, however I struggled with advertising myself and finding someone who will pay me. This app is great for new comers to advertise themselves. I really found this app helpful. And I put my friends on with this app immediately as I saw people wanting to hire me through Astawq. The updated look and fill is a great improvement. Anytime my friends are trying to market themselves I always put them on with Astawq and they all found it incredibly useful. I love this app, and I will most definetly keep using it.

Excellent All-in-One Service App!

I really love this app! It makes finding and connecting with reliable service providers so easy — from renting a house to getting babysitting and many other services. Everything is well-organized, the interface is simple to use, and the customer support is quick to respond. I’ve had a great experience so far and highly recommend it to anyone looking for trusted local help in one convenient place!

Now it’s great! Just need some improvements

My issue was the call not redirecting but this updates fixes that. Thank you.

I would suggest:

- Better UI

- Map included in posts. If posters don’t want to share exact location then post with a given radius.

- Auto translation based on selected language. Now some posts are in English and some in Amharic. This app is specially useful to new comers to the US and most don’t speak or read English.

- (Bug) when users post two numbers the call feature combines it and gives out one big number.

We appreciate the feedback on the previously available feature. It was temporarily removed due to users entering incorrect phone formats, leading to unintended international calls and accountability issues, and unpredictable behavior across different phone models/OS versions. We have a limited testing scope to cover the entire phone models. Despite this, the app remains the primary tool for community accommodation searches and we will address this request based on our enhancement priorities. Thank you for your review and rating.

Useful but improvements needed

It’s good the app exists but has serious flaws. People should be required to post prices and upload atleast one picture of listing. It should also be required to have atleast a zip code of listings as well. Also price for usage could be less.

Call is supposed to Call

Every post has a call feature which is nice to contact the advertisers but the button just displays the number and that’s it 😔. Was it really that hard to implement a simple redirect to the phone app with the number? What amazes me the most is you can’t even copy the number from the pop up display, really!!!
The interface also looks bare-boned. I know it gets the job done but visually it’s unappealing to the eye.

Best available for the community

Very simple and user intuitive to use. Plus seems the service has a very large user base. I advertised my basement and I was surprised with the number of calls I received the next day. In just two days, my place is rented. I was able to take the ad down using the profile ad management. Kudos to the creators of this App. It is very helpful for our community

Easy to use and offers great visibility

Super easy to post ad and offers greater visibility. One can track the number of people that have seen the ad as well, which is a bonus. App interface can be enhanced and sometimes you see very old ads but overall great service!

What an amazing app!!!

Astawq is hands down the best app for finding a place to rent! I was able to browse a huge selection of properties with ease, and the filters made it simple to narrow down my search to exactly what I was looking for. It is user-friendly, fast, and filled with helpful details on each listing. Thanks to Astawq, I found the perfect rental, and I couldn’t be happier! Scammer

When I post I don’t even finish processing people start calling from all over the world . How come they call from every where ? That is fake . After that week no one ask or call. Also when they call they asking me send them the picture of the unit I didn’t post it for sale it’s for rent .. then they all asking me to look for them another place .. I didn’t say I am an agent … but all I know is this is fact advertisement page .. also it’s says free but they charge $9.99 that is also not right ..

It seems you might have mistaken the initial surge in calls for something unusual. The high volume of calls occurred because your ad was new and prominently placed at the top of the list. As time passed, newer ads were added above yours, pushing it down the list, which naturally led to a decrease in call volume since users typically start from the top. Astawq is a community app, and its pricing is significantly lower than traditional newspaper advertisements our community has been using. There’s no incentive to manipulate the system as you suggested. In fact, our community has found Astawq to be a very valuable service. Thank you.

I post an AD on Saturday and within 24hr I was able to find tenant and she was so happy she find a place that’s close to her work place this App will help every user in 3 ways 1.easy to find so many options 2. Very easy to access 3.connect with people without hammer away .

Very nice and sleek app. Very fast and exceptional for our community serving the purpose. It took me less than two minutes to post the ad for a roommate and I got the call within an hour and rented within a day. Thank you developer for making this easier for our community
