Disappointing App, Deceptive Developer Behavior

On 8/30/2025 I posted a review for this app and company here in the App Store, which read:
“Disappointing app run by con artists Thieves and scammers. This app is nearly worthless in terms of providing any sort of value. And in my case, and others, it actually left me with a net negative experience. This app and its parent company are run by scammers who solicit people to download, sign up for their app, use it, provide them extensive feedback on the experience (over an hour's worth) of following their instructions while testing out various features - via voice and video recordings, in exchange for payment of $80.

They then ghost you and pretend like they've never agreed to such and gaslight you as if they don't have any idea what you're talking about. But I have proof from the html of their feedback collection site, and from my own phone, that all of my feedback was recorded and captured on their back end. They stole both my time and feedback, and got +1 download and user registration for their app. I would avoid downloading this app because these people cannot be trusted, plus the app itself is just a glitchy ChatGPT wrapper. I recommend avoiding this app,
Treasure Hunt Labs, and ShopYaySay.
I'll happily consider removing this review if they pay me as agreed. You have my contact information. Warm Regards.”

On September 1, I received a developer response to that review which stated (copied and pasted from the email): “We are sorry the compensation for your user research survey was not completed. We would like to get this corrected for you quickly. Can you please send an email to (support email) with your first and last name. Once we have that information we can resolve this quickly. Thank you!"

I sent this email as requested on September 2, and received no response, no acknowledgment. I then forwarded it to them again a few days later, no response. I found 2 other contact emails at the company and forwarded it there on September 8, but no response. Today is September 15th and I’ve yet to receive any sort of acknowledgement of the email they requested that I send.

It certainly seems like I was intentionally misled for the benefit of the developer publicly saving face in their review response. Do NOT trust this shady company with your data, is my recommendation. I’ll update this review if they ever respond and pay me for my time, insights, and app signup/usage, as per the agreement for the “research.”
