I failed my LCSW today and I consistently use this app, did quizzes, studied the definitions & consistently passed at 80% or above. The exam today, I truly believe not one test scenario that I was faced with today had anything to do with what I've seen on this app

Great study tool

The format was similar to the exam. The provision of reasoning with incorrect answers was also a helpful study tool. This was the only tool that provided actual frequent test simulation. I used it for two weeks leading up to my exam and passed.

Great app for studying you can’t go wrong. The rationals are so very helpful it gives insight and more in depth understanding of what you are studying and learning. It’s worth every penny of your money.

Practicing for LCSW

This is a great app. The questions are longer than what they actual test provide but it gives you a better understanding of the concept.

Great study tool!

I passed my LMSW and LCSW exam with using this app! The questions on the app are very similar to the ones on the app.

Best App

I love the different levels from easy to hard. I like how you can show the answers at once or wait until the end. I feel like it’s challenging and preparing me for the LCSW exam.

Honest thoughts

Overall a great tool for studying due to the game like structure. My only negative criticism is that some questions are far too easy.

Do not recommend

Its straight DSM wording. It’s technically correct, but it’s written like somebody copied it directly from the DSM and pasted it into the question. Sentences are way too wordy and long. I paid for a week. I want a refund

Not helpful

I felt that these types of questions were not at all similar to the ones on the exam. They were not helpful and I didn’t pass the exam. I would give it 0 stars

Golden App

This app is most similar to the actual ASWB LCSW exam questions than Pocket Prep questions (my opinion). I have taken the actual ASWB practice exam (for preparation) and the actual ASWB LCSW exam and these questions on this app are OFFICIAL for test preparation. Please use this app and share with other upcoming test takers that this app is most concise, thorough, helpful, and will fully prepare you for getting licensed and being done. Thank you for creating this exam prep app, I LOVE THIS. Great work to the creator this is GOLDEN. 🥰

Passed LCSW with this app

I have been a social worker for ten years and have just passed the LCSW exam. Out of all the study guides I bought, this app helped me the most for a number of reasons. First, it’s very convenient and engaging- I viewed it as a game I could play to pass time which helped me enjoy it more. I also appreciated the ability to focus on specific sections I had trouble with. Thankfully I only needed it for a month, at a discounted price of about 9 dollars. This was much more effective than the giant texts that costs a few hundred dollars.

Spot on

The topics and questions really made sure you were ready for the LCSW exam. Being able to do it on your phone helped you stay sharp each day ! The content was stimulating, accurate and spot on!

Oversimplified Questions & Unrealistic Practice Material

The question format is far from what the real ASWB LCSW–Masters exam looks like. The answers are overly simple and make the correct choice obvious. It doesn’t feel realistic, and I honestly feel scammed.

Lots of great practice Qs

I just took the LCSW exam (Nov 2025) and passed by a healthy margin. The questions here were very similar to those on the actual exam and helped me tremendously to feel prepared.
