Don't bother...
The questions were way too specific on selected topics and were nothing like what was on the exam. There were also a disgusting amount of grammatical errors and misspellings for a paid app.
A little disappointed
I got this to supplement my ASWB study guide. I was really disappointed not just in content but in execution. The set up of the app had potential, but there were grammatical errors galore and content not related to current social work studies and theories. I feel like this was more distracting than helpful on the ASWB.

Questions are child protection-related...I feel like I wasted my money.
Many misspellings
It appears the content itself is relevant to the LCSW exam, but after using this for only 10 minutes, I have found an inexcusable number of misspellings peppered throughout the questions.

This app was not written by the ASWB. It has several grammatical mistakes, and questions are not complete.

The questions asked in the app are not realist test questions. I have taken the LSW exam and the practice LGSW exam. I was a little disappointed with the quality of the practice test questions. Some were so off the wall and I would argue incorrect. However, the practice test does challenge you to think about the material and is still helpful. If you want realist test questions I would point you in another direction.

Not similar to ASWB questions. This app isn't approved by the ASWB.
There are better resources than this. I was not happy! Questions don't make sense. Many errors. Save the $5 towards a practice manual!

Don't bother
Although there is a lot of helpful information, the FREQUENT typos and strange wording of questions is so distracting that you spend more time interpreting the question itself than attempting to answer it.

These questions are NOTHING like the real questions by the Masters level ASWB exam. The fact that they use ASWB in their name is misleading. And it's cheap so it seems like something worth trying - but DONT! This company, like many test prep companies, is not created by social workers. Please research this company, Upward Mobility, (and any companies you plan to use) before you buy from them and spend your time reviewing them.
I recommend doing a google search and look at 5-6 of the top programs that come up.
1) Read their reviews. If they don't have full names, then assume most of the reviews are fake.
2) Read who is in charge at the company. This is the most important part.
If the company isn't run by social workers then THEY DIDNT TAKE THE EXAMS. Even if the company has social workers on staff, make sure THOSE PEOPLE HAVE TAKEN THE EXAMS. Otherwise, in both those situations, the companies are just MAKING UP what they think is on the test and selling it to you. Then you WASTE YOUR $ and TIME studying the WRONG stuff and fail the exam.
Worst of all you think it's you that failed. It never dawns on most people to think they were part of a SCAM. Well this company is part of that scam. It may just be $5, but it's still a scam.

I purchased this and wasn't very impressed. Questions aren't consistent with ASWB and as the previous review stated there are therapies in this that I have never heard of nor are they part of the study guides. In fact, these questions almost appear harder than the aswb ones.

Good way to study on the go
I agree with the other reviews that state that this app is a great supplemental tool. The practice questions are quite helpful. I was able to pass my exam on the 1st try with the help of my other study materials & this app! If the app contained a greater amount of information and had less typos I likely would have rated it 5 stars.

Please update for ios7
Since the iOS update the app will not allow me to scroll through study mode. When I touch the screen to scroll through the questions it just selects the question that was touched. Please update for iOS 7 compatibility.
Best App Ever!!!
Love this app!!! Studied this along with a few study guides, and I passed my test!!! I would recommend this app to everyone who wants to pass their test the first time!!! Great practice test and study guides!!!!
Not so sure
This App makes me nervous as a study tool. The ASWB exams do not use "all of the above" or "none of the above" answers, but this App does. The study guide also uses old terms & diagnosis such as neurosis. Finally the grammar and errors in the questions are distracting.
Helpful for on-the-go
This app is very helpful for on the go studying but certainly not the only means of study you would want to use as the number of possible questions could never cover all need to know information. It would also be helpful if it provided you with the answer you chose in test mode review rather then only telling you the correct answer.

2. Test question wording was not consistent with ASWB test questions, as well as the format for possible answers
3. When reviewing practice test answers, you can't view which answer you chose, or the other possible answers
4. Content seems inconsistent with what ASWB expects for exam. I say this because this app included questions about interventions and theories that weren't in the NASW study guide, and I had never heard of them.
The one benefit is, due to it being on the iPad, I can take it everywhere. Also, it's only $4.99.

Good App
This is a good supplement and makes studying on the go easy! I would use other tools too. Customer service was fantastic when I had questions and realized I bought the wrong one.
