Not excellent

It didn’t transfer most of the phone numbers of my contacts. It kept the name of the contacts, but none of the other information. Photos and videos are not in chronological order and not all of them were transferred. But it did transfer most of my photos and videos, and a couple of my contacts with their information.

Easy

I transferred my iCloud to my newer iPhone and I was amazed that it transferred everything, apps etc. thankfully att customer service recommended this app and I had 6 pics and some files that still needed to be transferred so this app works great. So happy it caught what was missed. Took less than a min

This app is so helpful!!

I tried for literal days to move my data from an old droid phone to a new iPhone with various apps (move to iOS being one) with no success and much frustration. Then in store a worker told me about the AT&T transfer app. I downloaded it and it 10 minutes had everything from my old phone on the new one. My only complaint is that I didn’t find the app sooner. Cannot recommended enough.

Do not use

I tried several times to get all the data to transfer and each time getting several questions to answer before it would lock up.

After giving and deleting the app I woke up and found the automatic backup. My contacts had doubled and some lost. Each contact was in my phone twice but only one of them had numbers and emails.

It looked like all my photos were back on my phone even photos I deleted over days, months, and years ago were back on the phone.

This isn't the first time I have changed phone or upgraded to new phone, so it’s not like I am ignorant to the process. It took me a couple of days to go through the phone and remove or add what this app screwed up.

I would have been better off letting a blind monkey activate the phone. God Bless technology!!

It literally only transfers contacts and photos.

I downloaded the transfer app thinking it would at least bring some of my apps and settings from my old phone but it literally only did contacts and photos. If I knew that I never would have bothered with this app. It is going to take me hours to get everything moved over to my new phone. You know, the things I actually use my phone for. I work for a startup that does everything through apps, clocking in and out, hr, benefits, time off requests, not to mention the dozens of apps I use everyday in my personal life. Thanks for literally nothing.

Mobile transfer app

I’m pretty sure my contacts and photos were transferred between iPad mini gen2 to Mini gen5. However, I was expecting music to be transferred too, but reading what it is supposed to do, music wasn’t part of it. There were a few issues because older iPad was running iOS 12.4 and some things were not supported it said. Ended up going to iTunes, backing up to my old Mini-2 backup and attempting to transfer to new mini-5. My purchased and Downloaded Music and playlists were supposed to transfer but did not fully do that. Didn’t see any helpful information to accomplish that. Missing 60-/+% of my downloaded music and about 20% of music on playlists. 3rd party or after market app was needed to complete the music transfer. Therefore 3 stars out of 5 = 60% satisfied.

Quick and efficient

Definitely the best way I’ve found to transfer photos to your new iPhone. Quick, I can pick and choose what photos to send over which is useful because I don’t often go through and delete those shopping lists or message screenshots haha

Amazing

Simply amazing and quick! Sometimes having an iPhone can be a hassle when trying to sync pictures from one to the next especially when the other iPhone is being used. This made transferring picture easy and simple.

I now have my photos

After restoring from my backup, it would not transfer my photos or apps. I downloaded the apps on my new phone by still didn’t have my photos. I downloaded the transfer app and now I have my photos- yeah!!! It took quite some time as I had many photos but it was worth it.

iPhone transfer a SNAP

I initially tried transferring content from my old phone by backing up to iCloud and then doing a transfer. That quickly became a headache as iCloud stated that I had ran out of storage. In googling alternative ways to transfer I ran across the AT&T app. After downloading the app it initially would not connect the old phone to the new. I had to restart the phones a couple of times and open the app. When they connected it became a snap to move content over to a new device. It took about 10 or 15 minutes for transfer to be complete.
Love, Love this app.

Very handy

Very easy to use save all photos and videos from my old phone to my new phone. Lot easier using iCloud when use up all space on it I can keep all the photos and videos it’s very nice. Apple lock my accounts out some one keep trying sign it lot easier get photos and videos and everything else.

Beware of incorrect data

I transferred over all my info over from my old to new phone. In my contacts I noticed all the birthdays were off by a day. Also some other information was incorrect as far as not having phone numbers and misspelling of addresses and the actual numbers being wrong. Just beware of this and double check your info before you delete from your old phone. I will say it was better than having to enter everything by hand but not much

wow actually the worst

not only did the transfer take a whopping 12 hours? To download? Like what is that? Are you kidding me? Anyhow, after that, it came to my acknowledgment that it only transferred the first half of my photos and videos, but made two copies of the videos on the new phone. Weird, so i looked into it a little more. I then saw that after completion, the photos and videos from the old phone were in fact deleted and unretrievable, and i now have only half of them. Thank you att mobile transfer for carelessly erasing over 4 years of memories. No worries, I’m sure I’ll forget about this much like i will forget about all of them soon enough. Y’all are scumbags

Surprisingly simple and effective!

Let’s face it, a free, first-party app from a giant TelCo is worthy of suspicion. I figured it would fill my phone with ads and I’d have to laboriously track down all the crap it put on my phone.

But lo and behold, it simply did its job! It was quick, effective and easy. Way better than waiting for an iCloud backup or sifting through all the other adware out there.

I know it’s weird to praise an app for simply not sucking, but I was really pleasantly surprised.

Unknown yet

23 hours it says for 6000 pics and 800 videos from 2 7 pluses to a 11 pro max 500+ GB. Just praying is all I can say at this point. Another review to follow if allowed. Update: worked great!! It did double pics and videos due to adding 2 7 plusses into a 11 pro max. Just back up phone first to cloud just in case is all. Will have to go through 12,000 pics and get rid of doubles and videos as well. Takes a while but works good when transferring 390 gigs

Just what I needed!

I had been struggling to find a suitable program to transfer my data to my phone with no success. I was in a rather odd situation, where I had data on one phone from four months ago and past that, and data on the other phone from those four months until now. Nothing I could find worked for me, and transferring things to my PC and then to iTunes wasn’t working. Thank goodness for this app!! ♡ ♡

Very useful but errors and no help resolving

The app was very useful and user friendly. However, at the end, it said two items couldn’t be transferred due to “compatibility problems”. Problem is it didn’t give any option to review them to manually transfer and once I clicked “next”, I lost access to the failed files. I don’t know what didn’t transfer.

A couple of tips

This app worked well and it was easy to use. Before you start update both phones. This will allow the phones to see each other. Also as you follow the prompts be sure to allow the app to access all the things you wish to transfer.

Loved it!

Very fast AT&T has always been reliable and they definitely saved time and effort with this one I knew I made a good choice when I first had trouble with my data and they were kind and fixed the problem quick and as for this app transferred little over 100 photos and 50 videos in 15 minutes most apps would take a hour!

Good app overall

Even though everything I thought was going to be transferred wasn’t it did do my pics and I think my contacts .. none of my apps where transfer though or my messages etc.. it took a long time about an hour so I figured with that time it would do everything I needed to transfer that it would have done a true complete transfer but it didn’t.. above all though I guess it was ok nothing seems to be corrupted so that’s a plus on the other end.. but wished it just did it all instead of me having to do so much work after ..
