What's New in Ate This Daily
1.3.1
October 23, 2026
- New: Redesigned "Find a Meal" in History. The old scattered search and calendar buttons are now one entry point, switchable between text search and calendar browsing - Calendar view shows how many calories you ate each day — days over your goal turn red (redder the more you're over), with a line chart for the week's trend. Tap a day to filter the list to just that day. The calendar can also be shared as an image - The dashboard's date picker calendar now matches History's: daily calories, red when over goal, a trend line, and share as image - New: Daily Overview. Tap into any day from History to switch between Overview (your meal list), Trend (a protein/carbs/fat intake chart against goal), and Detail (an itemized nutrition breakdown per meal) — each shareable as its own image - Supplement intake in History now shows as its own card at the end of each day's list - New: Meal cost tracking. Optionally log how much a meal cost when recording or editing it, with your own choice of currency - New: Extra nutrients. AI photo analysis now estimates a few more nutrients, which can also be entered or edited manually — shown in their own section on the meal detail page - Daily AI usage for Meal Ideas and Daily Photo Analysis is now combined into one "AI uses today" counter, with a more consistent look and the daily limit raised to 6 - For meals with multiple photos, you can now reset the cover photo from the edit screen after saving too - Improved meal photo display: the main photo on the detail, edit, and share pages now shows the whole image instead of cropping it, with the leftover space filled by a blurred version of the same photo. Photos also fade in instead of popping in over a flat gray box - Sharing a single meal's image no longer shows the time or a "Total Calories" label; sharing a whole day's image also drops the "Total Calories" label and now shows each meal's calories next to it - The home screen widget now matches the app's hand-drawn picture-book look - Export Records and Meal Reminders in Settings moved under General, easier to find - The nutrition-label capture screen is clearer about photographing the food's own label - Fixed meals occasionally disappearing and reappearing in History, plus other UI polish
