Incredibile App - no need to sub the good stuff is free

I love an app that has all the basic and necessary features for free and the paid version is just for extras if your interest. Don’t let it deter you if you’re worried about the paid version

Inquiry

I’m brand new to orthodox from prot to pagan to atheist Roman Catholic to here. This app has been incredibly helpful for trying to live out the faith through prayer and education. I have a few apps that all are similar but this is the one I keep going to and I end up deleting the others. I liked Hallow when I was Roman so finding something similar was the goal and I like this one.

I so want to like this app…

A strange glitch where the screen is always pushed to the left, off screen, while the main screen’s edge seems to be on the left edge.

Fix this and whatever else might need fixing and I’ll be glad to give it another go.

Fantastic & helpful

Totally new to the orthodox faith and wow! Absolutely amazing job on the app! I’ve learnt so much about orthodoxy and their teachings in just one weekend.

I’m not even on the premium subscription and it still covers so much haha!

Very beautiful artworks, so many prayers, devotions, songs, reflections and teachings. Very clear layout, very helpful and informative and loads of reminders and things to keep track of your prayer times, readings, etc.

The calendars are so helpful too in seeing what fasting or feasting days there are:)

I love that you can also write down your own personal prayers, light candles, and have a verse of the day, and other daily readings:)

Aligning My Heart and Mind

As a Catholic exploring the Orthodox faith, I have found this app to be truly refreshing. Unlike some Catholic apps that feel like an overwhelming 'Netflix of prayers' where it’s easy to get lost, Athon is helping align my heart and mind. I’m more focused. It’s encouraging. I am praying more consistently and learning so much. And I feel like my heart is moving in a way I can’t yet describe. Thank you. Highly recommended!

Best Orthodox App Available!

I am incredibly impressed with this app. I have looked for several different orthodox apps, and none of them even come close to Athon. From specific prayers for access to the Bible Bible studies podcast like audio formats daily prayers daily burning about Saints and more. This app is incredible and it also visually looks amazing. As just inquiring about the orthodox faith, I have truly become closer to God because of this
