Amazing

I just downloaded this app a couple of minutes ago, and I am pleased to say, that is amazing. The reason I downloaded this app, was because I have the live ATC app on my phone, and the ATIS for Las Vegas Airport is down. But can you add a couple more airport like North Las Vegas airport, and Nellis Air Force Base?

Excellent App for a Quick Peak

This app is excellent for a quick check of the ATIS while I’m on a trip. Much easier than pulling out the company iPad for a quick check in the crew van! Keep up the great work and I’ll look forward to some international airports when the data is available.

Great app, wish it had widgets

Overall great app, use it all the time on the way to the airport. One suggestion is the creation of widgets for either favorite or nearest airport. That would be the cherry on top for this app.

Perfect

Great app, works perfectly. It includes ATIS for all airports that supply digital ATIS. This includes all major airports, if you’re looking for the ATIS in Hooverville, it’s probably not available because that airport does not publish a digital ATIS.

Phenomenal

Excellent app and responsiveness to requests. The free version is all you need (the ads are not intrusive), but I subscribed cuz the developer deserves the $$ for quality work. Thanks!

There’s a very limited number of airports that are available all the ones I’m interested in are not there.

The airports that provide Digital ATIS are listed in the app store description before you download, as well as in the app itself. We cannot provide ATIS for airports that don't provide it. If you're able to convince your favorite airport to provide access, we'd love to add them!

Simple and Great

As the title says this app is simple and does just what the developer says it should. My go to on trips when I don’t feel like opening the Jepp app just to see the current ATIS. Thanks for making this one!

Only US airports

Only US airfields are available that too quite limited. Need a greater data specially airfields around Asia.

Great app- works as expected

A lot of the negative reviews are from people who obviously have no clue what a D-ATIS is. This app pulls the very latest D-ATIS from all participating FAA sites. If you are looking for the METAR from Nowhere airfield or Bobs landing strip you’re using the wrong app. If you need to look up what a D-ATIS is and don’t understand why every airport doesn’t have one, you probably are using the wrong app.

To the dev: Would love to see international data at some point but have no idea if that data is readily accessible or not. Perhaps a future Premium feature?

Thank you for the kind words and review! I hope to add international airports in the future as data becomes available - there are plans in the work to add Australian airports and some others in the works.

Thanks for the review! Unfortunately, the app is limited to airports that provide Digital ATIS. It doesn't appear that the DoD provides Digital ATIS to the public.

Ad banner blocking SJU

After 5 minutes of use seems work well. Only bug I see so far is the ad banner is blocking SJU. But if you tap just below HNL it will load SJU.

10.7 allows you to type IATA, but banner still blocks last airport. As more airports offer D-ATIS your list will lose the last airports. Leaving one to just guess.

Still a good offering.

Whoops! Thanks for the bug report - version 1.0.8 should fix the issue of ads loading above the airport list.

Too few airports

Only the very largest airports are listed. Need many more airports to have available info for general aviation use.

Nice apps for 75 airports

Nice app if all you want is a text report and only for 75 of the airports out the. Most are the ones GA doesn’t fly into. Apple doesn’t have it but if you have a droid phone get Avia Weather. Any airport that has weather and you can build routes so at the push of a button you get METARS and TAFs for today’s route.. Also NOTAMS. Encoded or clear text with head wind and cross wind diagramed out

Hi Alan, this app is specifically for airports that the FAA provides Digital ATIS for. I hope to add METARs and TAFs in a future version for use by more pilots. I have an Android app called Windsock that provides METARs and TAFs for all airports as well.

Downloaded app as of this comment and favorites do not work

No access seen to favorites. I tapped the star in upper right corner to turn on favorites on my iPad Pro 3rd generation.

Delivery is awesome as I have to get ATIS from a remote repeater and quality of ATIS is sketchy. To be able to read the ATIS a lot better than trying to listen through a bunch of static.

Sadly airport coverage is woefully inadequate as I am based at KMBO and get ATIS from KJAN (Jackson MS) for my IFR clearances.

Hey Allen, the star should set one airport as your favorite, which the app will automatically load when you start the app on subsequent launches. If it's not working, please let me know via email - steve at iawix dot com. I'll try to update the description to explain this more plainly to users. I may even implement a list of favorites as well. As for coverage, I'm limited to what the FAA provides. The app has access to every airport in the US that provides digital ATIS. If more are added, they'll appear in the app in the future. Thanks for using my app, I hope you continue to enjoy it as I improve it!
