Save your money
Never gotten it to work with IOS as your mileage will vary. Hit and miss on android too after spending upwards of $2500 for the hardware and upgrade kits. There are much better systems out there, and they obviously didn’t have the app designed and tested onshore

If you are willing to try every entry into the app 10-20 times, you MIGHT make it work. How do they get away with such an awful app and controller for such a great (and $$$) light fixture?! Has anyone been able to get the light to join a group? Why do all the unused groups show up on the programming page? Why can’t you delete unused groups? This is one seriously buggy app. Come on Orphek, wake up and take care of your customers!

I can’t believe they have an app that is this Janky for such an expensive and supposedly premium Aquarium LED light.
Hard to use if it works and that’s only about 20% of the time.

Buggy and horrible design
The design is awful and it’s hard to imagine making it any less user friendly. I’m so frustrated because I have a few lights in multiple groups but the app feature to show what lights are in each group or what group a light in is doesn’t work so I can’t remove them unless I want to reset the light to factory defaults.

Fight to connect 1000+++ light with a 10.00 app it’s just terrible can’t connect to these no matter what response is slow really slow. They really need to spend time on their app if they want to compete. A good even great light needs an app to match. Hate to leave 1 star but the hours spent resetting light disconnecting and reconnecting for something as simple as light control make me want to dump the lights. I’m now sorry t this point for not going with the competition:( very upsetting to say the least!

Difficult, but not impossible.
The app is lacking, and not well thought out. The first problem I ran into is that there are four channels of control for the Atlantik V4. The channels are color coded in the app- Channel 1 is Red, Channel 2 Green, Channel 3 Blue, Channel 4 White.
Those colors for each channel in the app don’t correspond to the actual colors of the LEDs in the channel on the unit at all.
Channel 1 for the unit is actually white, yellow, and green LEDs; Channel 2 is your Blue LEDs; Channel 3 is Violets; and Channel 4 has Red LEDs.
Something else that takes away from the app is that there is only seven points/times for ramping up and down that you can set for each channels. The first point for each channel won’t allow you to set anything. It stays at zero, and there’s isn’t a way to adjust it. That leaves you with only six points you can use for ramping up/down. You have to plan each channel carefully.
That’s just a couple quick issues, and there are several more, but it makes using the app a lot harder than it should be.
I hope an update comes soon that fixes these issues.
