It is just okay
I hoped when I downloaded this that it could search major cities of the world not just capitals.. I really only actually need a directory of cities of the world and basic info about them.. no need for map
How can you learn?
I was doing some homework and I needed an atlas. I downloaded this app to look for the Atlas Mountains in Africa. Guess what? THERE NOT EVEN ON THE MAP! They really need to add more important stuff on these maps. You can't learn anything if the information does not even exist on the thing you are looking at. Very disappointed.

Some suggeations
I was hoping to be able to zoom in and get more details. Secondly, the app locks screen locks screen rotation with the button at the right. I'm a lefty and prefer the button at the right.
What going on?
The maps are simple but adequate. What's going on with ads? I PAID FOR THIS APP AND I STILL GET these obnoxious ads. I would not have bought this app knowing this. Very annoying!!!!
The reviews of this app are unnecessarily harsh
Sure, there's no state lines and the ads are intrusive, but the app is fully functional and contains a world atlas, which is exactly what it advertises.

Ads kill this app
Ads are too large, and cannot be dismissed or minimized in order to see the atlas. Waste of time. Maps looked okay, but I was unable to explore much because of the ads covering up the content.
Just what it says...
...and no more. For simple, quick map look ups it is fine. For deeper interest you have to go elsewhere.
Almost useless because ads intrude
The ads take up too much screen real estate. Plus, you must remain in landscape mode. (Portrait is unavailable.)
Prayer Warrior
I am going to use this map in my prayer journeys with praying for a different country every day! I will educate myself much more in learning the geography and be better able to relate to those I am praying for. The app is great!

Disappointing
This application lacks the basics to attract anyone to a full version. It can not adjust the map zoom as desired by user. So basically you see the map the away the developer thought you want to see a zoom, but not your way. It is not what I expect from an application for an iPhone.

I like this app, it is very helpful, but to the holder and developer try to make it as quick updated as possible b'se some of the infos seem to be old and thus illerevant ! Otherwise it is so interesting and helpful !
It's a good app to get basic overview
Continents are bit confusing. Some countries are shown common in different continents. It would be more educative if there is any option to view detail by tapping country name.

This app rocks!! I always have some sort of map that I have to fill out the countries and cities and this app is just what I was looking for!! This is the best atlas app you can find that is actually free!! If there were more cities maybe then that would just put it over the top!!
More detail would make it better
