Pointless

Such a stupid game I can’t believe I wasted my time downloading it.

Flag game doesn’t work

The flag game is supposed to give you street views and clues, which I haven’t received any.

Awful

The new system sucks!

Tis a lot of fun and only one of like five games is pay to play

They let you play geogusser free to my knowledge and have some fun geography quiz’s a lot of fun so far.

No longer part of my day

This used to be part of my daily “quick game” routine. It was a lot of fun and helped me learn geography. But since the latest update, it’s just dumb. The street view images give you no idea as to where you are. The “how to play” tutorial says “Look for signage,” but not a single street view image I got showed ANY signage. And when you guess, it tells you how far away you are from the right spot, but gives you no direction. And it’s terrible for actually learning geography.

Why must developers ALWAYS make a game worse with updates? Please, please, PLEASE, just go back to the map-based game.

Ads lock screen.

Recent changes include ads that lock screen. Shutting down and restarting app is the only solution. Don’t use this app.

How to ruin an app 101

Ads galore and obvious overdeveloping with generative AI.
Shame, its beauty was in its simplicity.

Not accurate game

The flag game is terrible. It wants you to guess the country by dropping a pin, but even if you guess the country correctly, you don’t get full points unless you magically guess the center of the country (I think). Also, small island countries don’t show up on the map unless you know exactly in the Pacific where they are and can zoom all the way it. The game sucks.

Bait and Switch

This used to be a great, ad-free app that earned five stars from me. Then they massively changed the app so that it shows ads for malware that are difficult to even dismiss. A real shame.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it

Update ruined it

Please improve

This app is so buggy but if it improved I would love it. The daily challenge has no variety in where it drops you and I cannot play the other additional games besides the basic.

RIP to the old WORLDLE, hello to a new and worse experience

This used to be my favorite daily game, but the recent update has really hurt the experience.

The app now has aggressive ads, including scam-looking ones like “Your phone has 70 viruses, click here.” Even worse, most ads seem to get stuck and won’t close, forcing me to completely close and reopen the app just to continue playing.

When I first opened the updated version, I was required to create an account. That was not really a problem, but what really bothered me was being forced through a notification setup screen that couldn’t be skipped. It essentially required enabling notifications before continuing, which felt unnecessarily pushy.

The new UI feels cluttered and much less polished than the old version. While some of the new features are fun and add variety, they come at the cost of what made WORLDLE great in the first place: a clean, simple, minimalist experience.

It’s disappointing. I’ve played this game almost every day for over five years, and it used to be an easy recommendation. Now it feels like another app chasing engagement metrics at the expense of user experience.

RIP to the old WORLDLE.

Great app ruined

Another great app ruined by ads and paywalls. Deleting.

Really worthwhile fun!

I downloaded this to check it out to see if my dad would enjoy it, as he is a world traveler and geography buff, but I am enjoying this app immensely! The amount of FUN! I expected when trying it out, far exceeded my expectations. I love looking at the street views & guessing where that one location is in all the world! So cool!!! And educational. Excellent work, creators! This was effort well spent. Many thanks! 🙏💖🌎🌍🌏✌️💓💕

Hate the upgraded app.

Can’t seem to figure out how to even type in a guess on the country silhouette page. Going to go back to a more basic version if I can. I have enjoyed playing the daily game every morning but this new version is just too frustrating.

Awful signup process, malicious ads

Awful signup process that kept failing and forcing me into allowing notifications and sharing person info. Then 2 minutes in get a pop up saying my phone has been hacked. Turned out to be a fake ad that looked like a pop up dialog and couldn’t be dismissed.

Scam

Scam ad popped up on this app. I don’t trust it so I’m deleting it.

Horrible

The update is horrible. I hope whoever did it gets fired. The game was about simplicity, now I barely know where anything is. The point of the game is lost. Disgusted how things could go so bad so quick.

Dont bother

I have played this for years and used to enjoy finding what country was being featured but a recent change of the app has taken away the enjoyment of playing. They are just trying to be like all the other apps with waste of time features. It wont be part of my daily routine anymore

disappointing update

was such a fantastic game - ruined with changing its core features into geoguessr. Extremely sad to see the flagle and classic worldle disappear on mobile as it was something i looked forward to daily.
