Places submitted. Never respond slow app
I’ve sent in multiple places with photos and websites. No response. Really disappointing. They also reject things [ ie abandoned hotel on an island) but choose stupid things that are about as obscure as white bread.
What this app needs is better vetting, better responses and at least one person that could answer email.
And. Make it faster. Load time is really bad. From NYC to Prague. It’s too slow.

I love this app!! I always find so many awesome hidden gems and I found out about it on Delta Air Lines flight when I had logged into their wifi- they were promoting
Itchy feet
Adored the site for many years. However the app would be more enjoyable if it expanded to fit an iPad screen. My old eyes aren’t what they used to be.
No app support at all
I downloaded this the other day because my passion is taking road trips down back roads, and finding New places. Downloading the app. I had a couple of places that I wanted to add and it would not allow me to update. I sent feedback emails twice and still no response. What’s the use if you can’t follow up with your support…..

Fun Travels
I love this app. I discovered it a few years ago when I planning a hiking trip with my grandson. Since then, I’ve found dozens of unique and interesting places to take the kids. Even added a few of my own. I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could.

Nothing loads
I can’t get anything to load on either the app or the website. Search function comes up with nothing and the map has points on it, but the entries are blank when you click on them
Unintuitive App
I love Atlas Obscura, but this app sucks azz. It lacks a search bar so I can’t look up places I want to go to, so what is the point? What a huge disappointment

The interface is poorly thought out (UX specialists exist for a reason). Features are lacking. The features they DO have don’t ever work. I can’t believe they still haven’t fixed these things that have been broken for years.

My go to App
Traveling in my van since 2021 full time and this app has provided my 5 years of fun. I tell everyone I know that they need to use it. I even enjoy it oversees.

As per the FAQ, there is no drop pin.

Any trip to a new town I pull up Atlas Obscura to find those unique little trip finds
Love AO, the app is wanting
I love Atlas Obscura. I literally do not travel without referencing it and I travel a lot. This app needs a lot of love. It’s very slow and disjointed. I usually skip it and use the browser.

Love the idea but unable to add anything
I love the idea of the app we’re someone can unique or obscure locations to visit but I have been unable to add any locations to the app since I have downloaded it. I have visited a few locations that were already on the app but I have also been to few that have not. I would like to see the ability to add new locations.

I love you Atlas Obscura. Even 40 days and 40 nights wouldn’t be enough to get me off this app.
One of my favourite apps. Just wish there was a version optimized for iPads!
